【摘要】：罗丰禄是晚清史上重大事件的参与者与经历者,是中国社会近代化转型进程中的重要人物之一。本文通过对晚清官方电文、时人日记书信、洋人所存档案等大量史料的整理、分析、归纳、总结,试图对罗丰禄的生平做一尽可能完整的考述。在西方列强打开中国国门后,先进的中国人开始了向西方学习的马拉松般征程,罗丰禄也正是在此时登上历史舞台。先是和严复一同成为福建船政学堂第一届毕业生精英,不久又成为中国第一批海军留欧生,回国后尽职于李鸿章幕府,参与洋务运动及办理外交,先后在中法战争、中日战争等中进行外事交涉,又以其优秀的表现出使英国,在此期间为中国引入先进的机器、设备,进行国事交涉,争论高升轮赔偿案,多次磋磨借款。在掌握了大量史料的基础上,本文澄清了若干历史事实,比如对于罗丰禄留英期间就读的学校名称进行了考证,对于清国驻英公使龚照瑗回国、罗丰禄出使的原因在前人的基础上提出了不同的看法等等。梳理了罗丰禄与严复、郑孝胥的关系,从当时的历史背景下探析他们各自的“幸”与“不幸”,可以看出个人的追求受大时代的左右。
[Abstract]:Luo Fenglu is a participant and experience of the important events in the late Qing Dynasty, and one of the important figures in the process of Chinese social modernization and transformation. In this paper, through the collation, analysis, induction and summary of a large number of historical materials, such as official telegram of the late Qing Dynasty, diary letters of people of that time, and archives of foreigners, the author tries to make an examination of Luo Fenglu's life as completely as possible. After the Western powers opened the door of China, the advanced Chinese began to learn from the West like a marathon journey, Luo Fenglu is also on the stage of history. First, Yan Fu became the first graduate elite of Fujian Shipbuilding School, and soon became the first group of Chinese navy students to stay in Europe. After returning to China, they did their duty at the Li Hongzhang shogunate, participated in the Westernization Movement and handled foreign affairs, and successively fought in the Sino-French War. In the Sino-Japanese War and other foreign affairs negotiations, and with its excellent performance to the United Kingdom, during this period the introduction of advanced machinery, equipment, state affairs negotiations, disputes over the Gao Sheng-wheel compensation case, many times to borrow money. On the basis of mastering a large amount of historical data, this paper clarifies some historical facts, such as textual research on the name of the school in which Luo Fenglu studied during his stay in England, and the return of Gong Zhaoyuan, the minister of the Qing Dynasty to the United Kingdom. The reasons of Luo Fenglu's mission put forward different views on the basis of predecessors. Combing the relationship between Luo Fenglu and Yan Fu and Zheng Xiaoxu, and analyzing their respective "luck" and "misfortune" under the historical background of that time, we can see that the individual pursuit is influenced by the great times.
