台北知府陈星聚治台功绩

【摘要】：陈星聚是我国近代史一位杰出人物,在清末同治年间先后任福建省顺昌、建安、闽县、仙游、古田县令,兴利除弊,政绩卓异。同治十一年擢升台湾府淡水同知,光绪四年代理台北知府,光绪七年成为正式知府。光绪八年台北城正式动工兴建,十年告竣,陈星聚为建城倾注了巨大心血。他在台湾期间,为政清廉,关心民瘼,兴文重教,抵御法国侵略,是循吏,也是民族英雄,更是开发建设台湾的功臣。
[Abstract]:Chen Xingju is an outstanding figure in the modern history of our country. During the period of Tongzhi in the late Qing Dynasty, he successively served as Shunchang, Jian'an, Min County, Xianyou, Gutian County in Fujian Province. Tongzhi promoted Taiwan's Freshwater to 11 years, Guang Xu worked for Taipei for four years, and Guang Xu became the official Zhifu for seven years. Guang Xu officially began construction of Taipei City in eight years, the end of the decade, Chen Xingju to build the city devoted great effort. During his stay in Taiwan, he served as a clean government, concerned about the people's plight, promoted culture and education, and resisted French aggression. He was also a national hero and a meritorious officer in the development and construction of Taiwan.
