【摘要】："小云南"在何处,国内学术界说法不一,成为山东、辽东民间寻根的一大"千古之谜"。通过列举历史文献中关于云南省祥云县(古云南县)即"小云南"的多处记载和祥云县"小云南"的民谣及胶东民俗,证实"小云南"确在云南,云南省"独不见‘小云南’之记载"是没有根据的。山东、山西、安徽等省并不存在具有地名特征的、相对稳定的、实际存在的、可以查到的"小云南"地名。古代云南人外迁,既有北向、东向进入内地的,也有南向经元江——红河航运,由越南泛海迁移的,而且走水路——海上丝路外迁者更多、也更为便捷。中国人口史是一部古往今来在互相交流中发展的历史,是各民族互相依存、不可分离、共同创造光辉灿烂文明的历史。

In ancient times, people from Yunnan moved outside, either northward, eastward into the interior, or southward through the Yuanjiang-Red River shipping. They migrated from Vietnam across the sea, and more emigrated by waterway-sea silk road. The history of Chinese population is a history that developed in the course of mutual exchange from ancient to present. It is the history of all nationalities being interdependent and inseparable and creating brilliant civilization together.
