后城马路的兴筑、发展与近代汉口城市社会发展

【摘要】：后城马路是清末官府在汉口华界依城基筑成的最长的马路,它在民国时期屡遭破坏、失修,也多次得到拓修、改良,其形质经历了巨变,它由有最初的狭窄的泥沙碎石路变成了更为宽阔的水泥混凝土和柏油浇筑的大马路,成为汉口市内的交通大动脉。后城马路的兴筑与发展极大地推动了近代汉口城市社会发展:不但促进了市内现代化交通网络的形成与发展,带动了市内交通工具和交通业的发展,大大加快了城市化、商业化以及城市空间扩张的进程,并最终促进了城市社会生活方式的现代化。
[Abstract]:The Houcheng Road was the longest road built by the government in Hankou in the end of the Qing Dynasty according to the city foundation. It was repeatedly destroyed and disrepair during the period of the Republic of China. It was also repaired and improved many times, and its shape and quality underwent great changes. It changed from an initial narrow gravel road to a wider cement concrete and tarmac road, and became the main artery of traffic in Hankou. The construction and development of Houcheng Road greatly promoted the social development of Hankou city in modern times. It not only promoted the formation and development of the modern transportation network in the city, but also promoted the development of the transportation and transportation industry in the city, and greatly accelerated the urbanization. The process of commercialization and urban space expansion has promoted the modernization of urban social life style.
