【摘要】： 缫丝工业是中国近代工业中最早发生和形成的行业之一,19世纪60年代在外资的作用下首先起源于并不是原料茧产地的上海,并且在此后很长一段时间里江浙一带的缫丝厂基本集中于上海一隅,故上海的缫丝业地位一直得到人们肯定,被认为是江浙乃至整个中国的缫丝工业中心。然而,历来被忽视的现象是,几乎没有蚕桑基础的无锡虽比上海起步晚43年,但其缫丝业发展十分迅速。在短短30年时间里,无锡缫丝厂无论是在丝厂规模、设备还是产量方面皆超过上海,成为最大的缫丝基地,其发展速度不可谓不惊人。经济危机后,上海缫丝业的一蹶不振与无锡的快速复苏形成了鲜明对比。其实,无锡与上海两地缫丝业的兴衰正反映了中国近代缫丝工业的发展趋势与轨迹——缫丝工业从上海向蚕茧地转移。本文试图对两地缫丝工业进行比较研究,来探讨这个年轻的民族资本的特色。全文由导言、正文和结语几个部分组成。导言说明问题缘起、有关该论题的学术研究概况以及本文所运用史料的基本情况。正文由三章组成。第一章从原料来源和地理位置方面进行探讨,认为鉴于原料茧的重要性,缫丝业应立足于蚕茧地。再加上上海地价的猛涨,故无锡缫丝业的脱颖而出是情理之中的事情。第二章从劳动力资源方面分析两地缫丝业的差异。无锡缫丝业在工人工资、管理和劳动力招募方面都比上海缫丝厂具有优势,而且还特别注重智力投资,培养技术工人,因而发展很快。第三章从两地缫丝厂资金、组织形式、设备和经营的各个环节进行比较,认为上海缫丝厂是在外资的作用下兴起,不像无锡一样经历了资本积累的过程,多具有投机性,而无锡缫丝厂经营者较有积极作风,注重技术进步与设备更新,经营也更为稳定。结语部分回应了导言中提出的问题,分析中国近代缫丝工业的发展趋势与特色。
[Abstract]:Silk reeling industry is one of the earliest industries in modern China. In the 1860s, under the action of foreign capital, the silk reeling industry originated in Shanghai, which is not the origin of raw cocoon. And for a long time, the reeling factories in Jiangsu and Zhejiang were mainly concentrated in a corner of Shanghai, so the status of reeling industry in Shanghai was always affirmed and regarded as the center of silk reeling industry in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and even the whole of China. However, it has always been neglected that Wuxi, which has almost no sericulture foundation, started 43 years later than Shanghai, but its silk reeling industry developed very rapidly. In a short period of 30 years, Wuxi silk reeling factory surpassed Shanghai in scale, equipment and output, and became the largest reeling base. After the economic crisis, Shanghai silk reeling industry collapsed and Wuxi's rapid recovery formed a sharp contrast. In fact, the rise and fall of silk reeling industry in Wuxi and Shanghai reflect the development trend and track of Chinese silk reeling industry in modern times-the silk reeling industry is transferred from Shanghai to cocoon land. This paper attempts to make a comparative study of the silk reeling industry between the two places in order to explore the characteristics of this young national capital. The full text consists of the introduction, the main body and the conclusion. The introduction explains the origin of the problem. The main body consists of three chapters. The first chapter discusses the origin and geographical location of raw materials and thinks that the silk reeling industry should be based on cocoon land in view of the importance of raw cocoon. With the rapid increase of land price in Shanghai, it is reasonable for Wuxi silk reeling industry to stand out. The second chapter analyzes the difference of silk reeling industry between the two places from the aspect of labor resources. Wuxi silk reeling industry has advantages over Shanghai silk reeling factory in terms of workers' wages, management and labor force recruitment, and it also pays special attention to intellectual investment and training skilled workers. As a result, it has developed rapidly. Chapter three is from the capital and organizational form of silk reeling factories in both places. By comparing the equipment with the various links of operation, it is considered that the silk reeling factory in Shanghai rose under the action of foreign capital, unlike Wuxi, which experienced the process of capital accumulation, and was mostly speculative, while the operators of Wuxi silk reeling factory had a more positive style of work. The conclusion responds to the questions raised in the introduction and analyzes the development trend and characteristics of the silk reeling industry in modern China.
