【摘要】：《史记》面世以来遭改窜增补一事,前人所论甚多。而由于秦朝政府与儒家学派结怨太深,秦代史料遭到的恶意篡改尤为严重。今本《史记》中这样的问题史料颇多,主要集中在《秦始皇本纪》、《吕不韦列传》、《李斯列传》中,其中以《李斯列传》后半部分最为严重。《吕不韦列传》所载“邯郸献姬”一事前后矛盾,难以采信。《李斯列传》所载秦二世“责问”李斯之辞及李斯以“督责之书”献媚一事显系仇视法家者刻意诬陷,尤其是“督责之书”以贬义词献媚,完全不合情理,绝非李斯所作；李斯之死、二世之死太过离奇曲折,其中李斯之死一事前后矛盾处尤多,极不可信。《秦始皇本纪》叙事相对合理,李斯、二世之死及李斯被杀时间皆当以之为准,但《秦始皇本纪》在“尉缭评秦王”、“二世杀诸公子并下诏复修阿房宫”、“指鹿为马”等事的行文上亦存在窜乱痕迹,尤其是所谓“指鹿为马”一事的发生时间,实当为秦二世被杀的时间。此外,“始皇自称‘真人’不称朕”一事亦当系夸大；“沙丘之谋”等事有诸多疑点,应以存疑的态度视之。
