[Abstract]:After the capital was moved to Beijing in Ming Dynasty, Nanjing, as a "capital city", retained a complete administrative structure, but its political status was lower than that of Beijing, and the political prospect of serving Nanjing was not comparable to that of Beijing for specific officials. However, in the political history of Ming Dynasty, Beijing officials took the initiative to change to Nanjing. These officials' arguments of "begging for the south" vary, but in general, most officials hide their real motives when "begging for the south". Through the analysis of the contradictory political phenomenon of "begging and reforming the south" of Beijing officials in the Ming Dynasty, it can be found that the Ming Dynasty Nanjing provided a leeway for the officials who were confused about their official career, and the position of the officials in the Ming Dynasty in the history of the official system can be seen.
