文章摘要学校教育的本质是文化育人,传承与创新文化是其基本功能,也是一条重要的教育规律。中国古代的学校教育在储才与育才的同时,日益凸显出传承与创新中华文化的历史规律及其特征:学校储备人才与创新文化,形成传承中华文化的长效机制;学校培育人才与整理文献,使中华文化得以保存和传播;学校开展经学教育,促成社会主流文化的形成与确立;学校教育具有传承与创新中华文化的独特功能。认识并遵循学校教育传承与创新文化的历史规律,继续发挥学校教育的独特功能和作用,开辟一条能够适应现代社会生活需要的有效途径,是促进中华优秀文化得到更好的保存与发展的根本保证。

AbstrThe essence of school education is cultural cultivation,among which the basic function of inheriting and innovating culture is also an important educational law. While the Chinese ancient school education was storing up and cultivating talents, the historical law and characteristics of inheriting and innovating Chinese culture have been increasingly prominent. Schools’ storing up talents and innovating culture have formed the long-term mechanism of inheriting Chinese culture;schools’ cultivating talents and systemizing literature have made Chinese culture be protected and spread;schools’ developing study of Confucian classics has promoted the formation and establishment of the social main-stream culture;school education has the specific functions of inheriting and innovating Chinese culture. Knowing and following the historical law of school education’s inheriting and innovating culture,continuously playing the unique function and role of school education,opening up an effective way to be able to meet the demand of modern social life,are the fundamental guarantee to promote the Chinese excellent culture for better protection and development.
