【摘要】：正早在马可·波罗时代,以外国人的眼光来考察中国的历史变迁已成为中西方交流的第一条线索。在欧洲,古希腊时期以降,"观看"机制一直被视为获取知识的一种可靠方式,眼睛是最可靠的感官,视觉是认识世界最主要的方式,"看"等同于"知"。无论是美好神秘的乌托邦建构,还是愚昧无知的落后色彩,中国形象一直是西方文明的一面"他者"之镜,东方主义思想正是透过来华观察者的"帝国之眼"得以完美体现。英国当代汉学家雷蒙·道森(Raymond Dawson)在其代表作《中国变色龙——对于欧洲中国文明观的分析》(中华书局2006年版)中,系统总结了几
[Abstract]:In the era of Ma Ke Polo, looking at the historical changes in China from the perspective of foreigners has become the first clue for the exchanges between China and the West.
