[Abstract]:On April 15-16, 2017, sponsored by the Chinese History Research Magazine, the high-level forum on "people's livelihood issues in Ancient China and its National response" was held at the campus of Nanjing normal University, with the history department of the School of Social Development of Nanjing normal University. More than 30 scholars from domestic universities and scientific research institutions attended the meeting. A total of 16 reports were held at this conference. The participating scholars made full use of new materials, new perspectives, and new methods to focus on the issues of people's livelihood in ancient China, from economic, social, cultural, and transportation issues.
