论世界文学语境下的海外汉学研究

【摘要】:达姆罗什将"世界文学"视为一种关系,将民族文学以翻译的方式推进到全球文学传播和全球阅读的流程与空间当中。本文借助于这种"世界文学"理论,重新审视海外汉学研究中的"西方主义"与"东方主义"倾向,指出两者有其相通之处,都致力于强化中西差异,形塑先进文明的西方形象,往往轻易地把中西文学的不对等现象简单归之为"扭曲"或"误用"。"西方主义"所蕴含的精英本位的意识,也忽略了现代性不只是知识精英的文化博弈,它同时也指向日常生活和大众实践。在世界文学语境下,民族文学的观念已经渐渐丧失其权威性和概括力,世界文学呈现出一种"微弱的本质主义",由此打开了认识和解读海外汉学的更大空间。
[Abstract]:Darmrosh regards "world literature" as a kind of relationship, and pushes national literature into the process and space of global literary communication and global reading by means of translation. With the help of this theory of "world literature", this paper reexamines the tendency of "westernism" and "Orientalism" in the study of Sinology abroad, and points out that both of them have something in common and are committed to strengthening the differences between China and the West. In shaping the western image of advanced civilization, it is easy to categorize the unequal phenomenon of Chinese and western literature as "distortion" or "misuse". " The elitist consciousness contained in Westernism ignores that modernity is not only the cultural game of the intellectual elite, but also points to daily life and popular practice. In the context of world literature, the concept of national literature has gradually lost its authority and generalization, and the world literature presents a kind of "weak essentialism", which opens up a greater space for understanding and interpreting overseas Sinology.
