秦始皇“议帝号”诏评议

【摘要】：秦始皇创立的"皇帝"名号是专制集权统治的根本,从制度上确保了国家机器的正常运转,是与"世变"相适应的、"顺时俗"的一大创举。历代史家从《史记》的行文结构、文字风格以及对皇帝名号的评议等方面,对秦始皇"议帝号"诏进行了多方位的讨论。通过对秦汉时代诏书格式的总结归纳可知,"议帝号"诏末尾的"制曰可"并非衍文。目前中华书局点校本《史记》并不能很好地反映"议帝号"诏的原貌,应当予以修订。
