　　也门有许多正在施工的建筑项目,但大多都没有完成,而且严重失败。有许多因素与这次失败有关。本研究的目的,是找出并调查与建筑工程有关并可能导致工程失败的不同因素。此外,还对这些因素之间的关系进行了探讨。为此,作者收集了 320名受访者的数据,他们都是与这些建筑项目有关的人,例如顾问、承建商和业主。为了获得较好的回答率,作者采用了问卷调查法。采用了不同的方法和技术,以得到结果。这些方法包括描述统计、相关矩阵、旋转分量矩阵、T矩阵等。根据作者的分析结果,发现作者所认识到的所有因素都会对建设项目的失败产生不同程度的影响。此外,作者还发现,建设项目失败因素的所有变量之间都有一定的相关性,具有一定的显着性价值。在文章的最后部分,作者从理论、实践和政策制定三个层面探讨了本研究的不同含义或益处。建造工程的业主和承建商可从这项研究中得到有关工程各方面的指导。同样,不同的作者和研究者也可以从这项研究中获得信息和文献。最后,作者指出了本研究中存在的差距,并提出了其他研究者填补这些差距的建议。
