哲学视域下的“文化自觉”思想研究

【摘要】:我国著名社会学家费孝通先生不仅提出了 "文化自觉"思想,而且将其发展历程概括为"各美其美、美人之美、美美与共、天下大同",为我们研究"文化自觉"思想奠定了基础。在经济全球化和文化多元化的张力关系中,对"文化自觉"思想的研究,有助于打破"文明冲突论"的狭隘格局,在更为宏大的视域中倡导多元文化之间的"互鉴"与"和合共生"。由于费老的"文化自觉"概念作为一种"号召性的词汇",其诗性叙事所生成的朦胧语境需要理性的澄明,其内在逻辑和时代意蕴也需展开,尤其是在当今建设社会主义文化强国的背景下其新的理论内涵也亟待深度挖掘。本文以费老的"文化自觉"思想为基础,从哲学的视域追问"文化自觉" "是什么"、"何以可能"、"何以发生"、"何以实现",赋予其本体论、方法论、认识论和价值论的规定,从而希冀实现"文化自觉"思想的科学化、理论化、系统化。从唯物史观分析"文化自觉"的内在逻辑,是为了追问当代中国的"文化自觉""是什么"。"文化自觉"的本质是一种实践自觉,文化自觉是在文化传承和跨文化对话中,出于"文化生命"和"实践理性"的"自知"而形成的与时俱进、兼容并蓄、综合创新的文化实践观。不同社会形态的不同实践方式,决定了不同形式的"文化自觉"。和以往社会形态的精英层的"文化自觉"不同,当代中国的"文化自觉"是一种人民大众的、综合创新的"文化自觉","马魂、中体、西用"是其主要表现形式。从诠释学的视角分析"文化自觉"的发展历程,是为了追问"文化自觉""何以可能"。首先,"各美其美"倡导当代文化和传统文化的创造性结合,"时间距离"却横隔在当代和传统之间,施莱尔马赫的"时间距离"观是一种变相的"文化回归",而非"各美其美"。伽达默尔认为"时间距离"是文化糟粕的"过滤器"和传统文化精华的"生长域",使"各美其美"得以可能。在马克思的时间观中,时间即为人的生命尺度和发展空间,使"各美其美"得以实现。其次,"美人之美"倡导多元文化之间的学习和借鉴,"文化距离"横隔在不同文化之间,在跨文化诠释学的视域中,"文化距离"是"他者"文化精华的"生长域"和文化糟粕的"过滤器","美人之美"因此得以可能。马克思主义认为"历史向世界历史的转变"凸显出的人的本质力量,使得"美人之美"得以实现。再次,"美美与共、天下大同"表达的是文化和谐的愿景,"马魂、中体、西用"作为"美美与共"的中国文化表达,在"看、听、说"的视域融合作用之下,使中国文化呈现为马克思主义主导的文化"三螺旋"的和谐结构。从马克思主义认识论的视角来分析"文化自觉"的"坐标轴",是为了追问"文化自觉" "何以发生"。首先,"文化自觉"的"时间轴"表征出文化主体性的维度,在实践的基础上,先后形成了主体性的觉醒、文化精英的"文化自觉"、文化启蒙得以完成和"文化自觉"对于主体的反作用力,它们共同构成了"文化自觉"的历史源起。"文化自觉"的现世图景表现为资本逻辑压抑了大众的"文化自觉",所以在未来的维度中,"文化自觉"的创造性、超越性和价值引导性亟需内化为文化主体的精神引擎。其次,"文化自觉"的"空间轴"表征出文化的主体间性维度,在考察中西文化空间中的主体间性之后,分析出二者对话的新形态,并以此做为哲学根据,在开放性的语境下建设社会主义文化强国。从马克思主义实践哲学的视角分析"文化自觉",是为了追问"文化自觉" "何以实现"。"马魂、中体、西用"作为一种"社会主义文化自觉",其内在的张力结构需要阐明,目的是建构一种精神实体化的"文化自觉"。文化因"自觉"而"自信",自实践诠释学的视域来看,从"社会主义文化自觉"到"社会主义文化自信",是在从文化的"效果历史意识"到"世界历史"视野形成开放性的文化新视野、从"读者视域"到"作者视域"形成创造性的新视域、从"诠释循环"的主体内化到主体外化的文化实践过程中实现的。在从"文化自信"到文化强国的实践空间中,形成了五种文化力。其中,社会主义核心价值观的凝聚力是作为"社会主义文化自觉"的"马魂、中体、西用"彰显出的文化向心力,全民素质的能动力是在道德教化、道德物化和道德内化三维度中实现的,文化对发展方式转型的带动力表现为"经济的文化化",文化产业的创新力表现为"文化的经济化",中国文化在世界上的吸引力和影响力是国家文化硬实力、软实力、巧实力以及和实力共同作用的结果。五种文化力相互作用,形成"五力互动"的文化实践景观。
