[Abstract]:OCLC Research and the European Research Library Association (LIBER) recently launched a joint project to explore the adoption of persistent identifiers (Persistent IDentifiers,PID) in the European Scientific Information Management (Research Information Management,RIM) infrastructure. The project will provide a reference for the implementation of scientific research information management in European scientific research institutions. To provide leaders such as universities and research libraries with some useful insights into emerging practices and challenges in scientific management at all scales, said Lorcan Dempsey, Chief strategist and Vice President, OCLC: "We are pleased to work with LIBER OCLC Research has been interested in how libraries can promote and participate in broader research support programs on campus and across the country.
