蒙古国债市场的现状与发展

【摘要】：Developing the bond market in any economy is matter of compulsory missions, giventhe fact that strong bond market has number of significant inputs on economicdevelopment. As mentioned by some scholars, besides the value added services providedby the banks, the bond market, as a direct financing source for the firms, provides themwith multiple financial sources. Governments bonds are usually referred to as risk-freebonds, because the government can raise taxes or simply print more money to redeem thebond at maturity. During the transitional period from a centrally planned economy to a market economyin Mongolia, the Government of Mongolia established the root of Mongolian StockExchange (MSE) on January18,1991with the intention of implementing its PrivatizationPolicy and developing investment and securities market. The stock market has seen rapid growth in the past five years. As recently as2006, itwas the world's smallest stock exchange by market capitalization (at that point roughlyUS$83million).[6] That grew to US$406million by2008and then quadrupled again toUS$2billion by2011. This paper mentioned past and current development of Mongolian bond market,analyzes the existing problems and suggestions related the corresponding stock marketcountermeasures.
