对比修辞：英汉书评体裁比较

【摘要】： 写作，，作为人类交流的一种重要方式，是深嵌入不同文化背景中的。在对比修辞研究领域，许多学者的研究结果表明英汉语在语篇结构方面存在一定的差异，即汉语属于“螺旋型”，“绕弯子式”，而英语属于直线式。然而，以往这些对比修辞研究都过于集中在说明文这一体裁上。书评，作为评价出版物信誉的工具，在学术领域越来越受到重视。然而，对书评这一重要体裁的研究却长期被忽视了。本文从对比修辞的角度比较英美学术书评与汉语学术书评之间的差异有助于填补这一学术空白。鉴于目前国内外尚未发现有关书评的对比研究，本文的研究具有可行性及一定的理论和现实意义。 为从整体上把握文化对语篇修辞策略的影响，本文从语篇的宏观和微观两方面，对汉英书评进行对比修辞研究。从宏观上，文章比较了两种文化背景的书评在修辞结构上的差异。结果表明两种书评在结构上存在一定的差异。英语书评侧重描述，汉语书评侧重评价：英语书评推荐性强，汉语书评推荐性弱。修辞结构上的差异与汉英文化背景和风俗习惯有很大联系。在微观上，文章探索了2种书评在评价策略上的差异。研究结果显示英语书评批评性较强，汉语书评批评性较弱；中国人较谨慎含蓄，而英美人较大胆直露，这同样体现了两种不同的文化观念。
