中外应用语言学实证性学术论文英语摘要的体裁对比分析

【摘要】：的体裁分析受到了很大关注。一些学者对某一具体学科学术论文摘要的体裁结构进行了研究,如医学、农业等。此外,一些体裁对比研究分析了不同学科英语本族语者与非本族语者学术论文摘要体裁结构的异同之处。然而,前人研究很少涉及到应用语言学领域中外作者学术论文摘要的体裁对比分析。本研究的主要目的是对比分析中外应用语言学实证性学术论文英语摘要的基于语步的宏观体裁结构及摘要的微观语言特征中语态和时态在各语步中的使用情况。本研究从国内外具有广泛代表性的5种杂志中分别选取了50篇应用语言学领域的实证性学术论文摘要:外语教学与研究,外国语,外语与外语教学,现代外语,外语界,Applied Linguistics,TESOL Quarterly,English for Specific Purposes,English Language Teaching Journal和Language Learning。对摘要的宏观体裁结构分析参照Bhatia的IMRC结构和黄萍的学术论文摘要语步分析模式。并统计了摘要的微观语言特征中语态和时态在各语步中的使用情况。最后通过卡方检验其进行对比分析。分析发现在中外作者的学术论文摘要中语步1研究目的属于必备语步。而中国作者很少介绍语步1中概述和提出问题这一步骤。语步1中的步骤2提出本研究的问题在中外作者的摘要中出现频率最高。中国作者倾向于忽略语步2,尤其是其中的步骤2分析方法。语步3描述研究结果在中外作者的英文摘要中也属于必备语步,其中只包含一个步骤,即综述本研究的重要发现。语步4结论也容易被中国作者所忽略。中国作者不愿意通过评价研究结果来传播他们的新发现。分析摘要的微观语言特征中动词时态和语态的使用情况发现主动语态在中外作者学术论文摘要的语步1和语步3中出现频率最高,而被动语态在中国作者学术论文摘要的语步2中出现的更加频繁。此外,中外作者都倾向于使用一般过去时描述方法语步,使用一般现在时呈现结论语步。在语步3中,外国作者更多的使用一般过去时,而中国作者倾向于使用一般现在时来陈述研究结果。本研究揭示了中外作者应用语言学实证性学术论文摘要中基于语步的宏观体裁机构以及微观语言特征中语态与时态在各语步中分布方面的异同点,希望能帮助中国外语学习者更好理解论文摘要的体裁特征并加强其阅读和写作学术论文摘要的能力。
