基于语料库的学术论文摘要中词串使用特征研究

【摘要】：词串是语言的组成部分,是流畅会话和写作的重要语言材料。对科研人员来说,熟练掌握学科领域内的英语固定词串至关重要。 随着语料库语言学的发展,词串成为语言学研究的热点。近年来,研究者越来越多地注意到对双语词串使用进行对比研究的重要性。但是目前为止,针对英语和汉语中词串使用的对比研究甚少。本研究即以学术语料库为基础,对英语和汉语学术论文摘要中四字词串的使用分别从结构和功能上进行了对比分析,以期发现它们使用的异同。 通过使用语料处理软件对交通运输领域学术语料库的自动分析,本研究对英汉学术论文摘要中四字词串的使用从结构和功能上分别进行了研究。研究结果表明,在交通运输领域学术论文摘要语料库中,词串高频出现。根据本研究所定的词串认定标准,英语中高频四字词串出现90种,对应的汉语版本中有63种,但卡方检验结果表明两者之间并无显著性差异。结构分类分布上,两种语言中的短语性词串均为多数,但英语中的介词词串明显比汉语中多。在英语语料库中发现了副词性词串,在当前汉语语料库中则无此类词串。在两种语言中均可发现交通运输领域特有的词串。功能分类分布上,两种语言中多数词串具有指示作用,而汉语中具有结构组织作用的词串种类更多。为了避免主观性,英语中经常采用被动的句式,而在汉语中在则用省略主语的方式来实现。卡方检验亦表明在结构和功能上,词串各种种类数量的不同是有显著性差异的。
