1. Introduction to Topic:
Innovation has been shaping opportunities for Chinese entrepreneurs and most of the growth that the country has accomplished during the recent past could be attributed to the tremendous innovation and creativity of the Chinese entrepreneurs (Chao, 2012). Since its accession to WTO in December 2001, it was the low cost labor advantage of the country that was giving the country a competitive edge that has resulted in the influx of MNCs towards the country, however due to unprecedented inflation in the country the low cost labor advantage is no more available in the country (Zhao, 2009). As the low cost labor advantage of the country started diminishing, now the innovation has been providing the competitive edge to Chinese business people. However, there are fundamental differences in the innovation carried out in China and innovation carried out in other parts of the world (World Bank, 2011). This is because most of the innovations that took place in other parts of the world are directed towards discovering new value addition that add distinctiveness to the product and services that in turn help organizations in getting the ability to differentiate their offerings. However, the innovation that took place in China are mostly directed towards reinforcing the core advantage of the country as most of the innovation are carried out that focus on how to decrease the cost of inputs
