格物致“新”:晚清中国广告包装业的现代转变

【摘要】:工业社会的机器生产方式是人类文明的一个重要转折点,晚清社会的急遽变化带来了中国广告包装业的现代转变,从探求西方科技的"格物"之学到寻绎中国文化的"经世致用"之途,中国民众逐渐看到了西方工业技术的先进性和巨大能量,从而产生了变革生产方式的渴望。近代的工业化促进了工商业的发展,也使设计领域不断地拓宽,商战思想使人们对机器工业的商业价值有了新的认识,在新工业技术的刺激下,晚清的广告包装业开始形成,并呈现出与传统不同的新面貌。
[Abstract]:The machine production mode of industrial society is an important turning point of human civilization. The rapid changes in the society of the late Qing Dynasty have brought about the modern transformation of China's advertising packaging industry. From the study of the "character" of western science and technology to the "practical application" of Chinese culture, the Chinese people have gradually seen the advanced nature and enormous energy of western industrial technology, thus producing a desire to change the mode of production. The industrialization of modern times promoted the development of industry and commerce, and also made the field of design widen continuously. The commercial war thought made people have a new understanding of the commercial value of the machine industry. Under the stimulation of the new industrial technology, the advertising and packaging industry of the late Qing Dynasty began to form. And presents a new look different from the tradition.
