浅析英国维多利亚时期书籍插图

【摘要】：19世纪30年代至20世纪初维多利亚时期的英国,经济实力强大,科学进步带动了教育的快速发展,民众对知识的需求推动了英国文化空前繁荣。在这一时期,英国的书籍插图创作因机械化大生产、印刷工艺革新,迅速达到世界领先水平。文章主要结合当时英国社会的经济文化和书籍出版现状,就这时期的书籍插图工艺、题材等方面进行分析。
[Abstract]:During the Victorian period from the 1930s to the beginning of the 20th century, the British economy was strong, the scientific progress led to the rapid development of education, and the people's demand for knowledge contributed to the unprecedented prosperity of British culture. During this period, the production of British books and illustrations, due to mechanization, printing technology innovation, quickly reached the world's leading level. Based on the economic and cultural situation of British society and the present situation of book publication, this paper analyzes the process and subject matter of the book illustrations in this period.
