评赵紫宸、张肖虎的清唱剧《圣诞曲》

【摘要】：《中国音乐学》迎来创刊后的第100期纪念,作为中国艺术研究院音乐研究所的一名退休人员,我想写一篇文章以表示祝贺。但这篇文章的选题与我以往所写的不同,谈的是1944年由赵紫宸作词、张肖虎作曲的清唱剧《圣诞曲》。这部作品的乐谱珍藏在音乐研究所的资料室,已经尘封了60多年。赵紫宸先生担任燕京大学宗教学院院长时,我的父亲曾经是他的学生,1950年,应赵先生的召唤,父亲带我们全家从美国回来,到宗教学院任教。因此,我和赵先生及家人就有了接触和交往。改革开放以后,特别是进入21世纪以来,学界和宗教界对赵先生的研究和纪念活动增多,我作为晚辈,也有机会参加学习。1特别是2004年前后,燕京研究院编辑出版多卷的《赵紫宸文集》时,曾约我协助整理、编写赵先生有关圣乐方面的填词创作,这使我有机会直接接触了赵先生与音乐相关的创作和著述。可惜的是当时《圣诞曲》未能编入《赵紫宸文集》。我想借此机会对之进行一些研究和分析,因为《圣诞曲》是西方宗教音乐形式在中国的创作探索,是中国基督教大型音乐创作的本色化的一次重要实践。
[Abstract]:As a retired member of the Institute of Music of the Chinese Academy of Art, I would like to write an article to express my congratulations. But the topic of this article is different from what I used to write, about 1944 by Zhao Zichen, Zhang Xiaohu's oratorio "Christmas". The music sheet of this work, collected in the music institute's reference room, has been dusty for more than 60 years. When Mr. Zhao Zichen was dean of the religious School of Yanjing University, my father was once his student. In 1950, at Mr. Zhao's call, my father brought our family back from the United States to teach at the religious College. Therefore, I and Mr. Zhao and his family have contacts and contacts. After the reform and opening up, especially since entering the 21st century, there has been an increase in the research and commemorative activities of Mr. Zhao in the academic and religious circles. As a younger generation, I also have the opportunity to participate in the study, especially around 2004. When editing and publishing many volumes of Zhao Zichen's works, Yanjing Research Institute asked me to assist me in sorting out and compiling Mr. Zhao's writing on holy music, which gave me the opportunity to come into direct contact with Mr. Zhao's music-related creation and writings. Unfortunately, at that time "Christmas songs" could not be included in the "Zhao Zichen Collection". I would like to take this opportunity to do some research and analysis on it, because Christmas music is an exploration of Western religious music forms in China and an important practice of the indigenization of Chinese Christian large-scale music creation.
