文化视角下的流行音乐研究

【摘要】： 流行音乐既是当代社会心理和大众思潮的表达媒介,也是大众文化最典型的文本,因而受到了文化研究者的广泛关注。在国外的流行音乐研究中,文化视角下的研究已是研究的主流。而就目前国内的状况来看,这方面的成果尚不够丰厚。究其原因,是与相关理论及其成果的引进介绍以及对其的理解消化尚不充分有关。本文对意识形态、性属、种族、身份/认同、亚文化等文化研究中重要的理论概念和研究方法的发展脉络进行概括性梳理,对它们在流行音乐研究中的应用状况进行了考察和分析,从“文化研究”和“流行音乐研究”两个角度来对上述理论和方法作归纳,从而加深对文化视角下的流行音乐研究这一领域的各种理论和方法的整体认识,以图为国内在这个层面的研究的深入开展作些基础工作。本论文分六个章节: 第一章“文化研究的概念、历史与理论”独立构成。主要对本论题相关文化研究理论的背景进行综述。介绍了文化与大众文化的概念、两种研究范式以及流行音乐研究中的文化研究现状。第二至六章以流行音乐研究和文化研究中都非常重要的五个重要视角“意识形态”、“性属”、“种族”、“身份/认同”、“亚文化”为切入点,分别向两个方向展开论述:一、以理论为基点,介绍该视角在文化研究中是如何产生并发生意义转变的;二、以现象出发,阐述该视角在流行音乐研究中的作用,探寻流行音乐深层的文化意义及社会价值。本文的结论是:流行音乐作为大众文化的一个重要领域,不再局限于简单的娱乐功能,而是成为了一种文化。国内对文化视角下的流行音乐研究还刚刚起步,在学界逐渐开始将流行音乐置于文化层面进行研究时,充分理解和消化流行音乐文化研究中的理论方法,进而加深认识和理解流行音乐文化现象背后的深层理论含义,并对其进行梳理归纳,对于推动学科发展具有一定的现实意义。
[Abstract]:Pop music is not only the expression medium of contemporary social psychology and popular thought, but also the most typical text of popular culture. In the study of pop music abroad, the study from the cultural perspective has been the mainstream of the research. And the current domestic situation, this aspect of the results are not rich enough. The reason is that the introduction and digestion of relevant theories and achievements are not enough. This paper summarizes the development of important theoretical concepts and research methods in ideology, sex, race, identity / identity, subculture, etc. This paper investigates and analyzes their application in the research of pop music, and sums up the above theories and methods from the perspectives of "culture research" and "pop music research". So as to deepen the overall understanding of various theories and methods in the field of pop music research from the perspective of culture, in order to do some basic work for the further development of domestic research on this level. This thesis is divided into six chapters: the first chapter is the concept, History and Theory of Cultural Studies. This paper summarizes the background of the relevant cultural research theories in this thesis. This paper introduces the concepts of culture and popular culture, the two research paradigms and the present situation of cultural research in pop music research. The second to sixth chapters start with five important perspectives, "ideology", "sex genus", "race", "identity / identity" and "subculture", which are very important in the study of pop music and culture. The thesis is divided into two directions: first, based on the theory, the author introduces how the angle of view is produced and the meaning changes in the cultural research; Secondly, this paper expounds the role of this perspective in the research of pop music, and explores the deep cultural significance and social value of pop music. The conclusion of this paper is that pop music, as an important field of popular culture, is no longer confined to simple entertainment function, but has become a kind of culture. The domestic research on pop music from the cultural perspective is still in its infancy. When the academic circles begin to study pop music at the cultural level, we should fully understand and digest the theoretical methods in the research of pop music culture. Therefore, it is of practical significance to deepen the understanding and understanding of the deep theoretical meaning behind the phenomenon of pop music culture, and to sort out and summarize it in order to promote the development of the subject.
