[Abstract]:In order to promote the creation of music and explore the potential of creating Chinese works with the characteristics of the South Ocean and Singapore, the international music circles should have a better understanding of the Chinese works with the characteristics of the South Ocean and Singapore. A repertoire of Nanyang style and Singaporean Chinese music works was established. At the initiative of the music director and conductor of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Mr. Ye Cong, the group held its first collection of Nanyang style works in 2006.
