民族的表征庄学本摄影与三十年代西部民族形象

【摘要】： 进入读图时代以来,人们越来越不满足于只把握图像表面的价值,而开始渴望结合图像诞生的人文历史背景,获得更深层的解读。在这样的潮流下,一批拍摄于中国三、四十年代的民族志摄影作品近年来不断被整理出来、重新审视,庄学本的作品就是其中一例。但是,先行研究者们到目前为止,对庄学本作品的解读工作完成得仍然有限,这片领域仍有不少空白。本文试从视觉人类学的视角,首先对庄学本三十年代拍摄的西部文化人类学的摄影作品,在中国视觉人类学历史、尤其是中国人类学摄影史中的地位做一个评价。然后结合庄学本西行拍摄的时代背景分析第一手资料,揭示庄学本作品在三十年代西部开发的语境中所表征的民族形象。并且进一步讨论,当这些作品通过发表在东部城市的通俗画报上,成为城市视觉消费产品的内容时,它们是如何建构民族形象的。
[Abstract]:Since the era of reading pictures, people are more and more not satisfied with the value of image surface, and begin to desire to combine the humanistic and historical background of the birth of images to get a deeper interpretation. In such a trend, a number of ethnographic photographs taken in the 1930s and 1940s in China have been constantly sorted out and re-examined. Zhuang Xueben's works are one of them. However, so far, the interpretation of Zhuang Xueben's works is still limited, and there are still many gaps in this field. From the perspective of visual anthropology, this paper first evaluates the position of the photographic works of western cultural anthropology taken by Zhuang Xueben in the history of Chinese visual anthropology, especially in the history of Chinese anthropology photography. Then combining with the background of Zhuang Xuben's westward shooting, the author analyzes first-hand the national image of Zhuang Xuebin's works in the context of the western development in the 1930s. And further discuss how to construct the national image when these works are published in the popular pictorial of the eastern city and become the content of the city visual consumer product.
