【摘要】：本报告是基于日记体小说《小小的奇迹》二十三至三十一章节的英译中过程撰写而成。该书作者是英国著名喜剧演员及作家唐·弗兰奇。该书语言诙谐幽默、亲近读者。该小说为日记体形式,主要由三个主人公的日记组成。小说主题清晰分明,旨在揭示青少年子女与父母的关系,提醒人们关注青少年的内心世界,同时劝诫子女体谅父母之心。本翻译过程以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论作为指导,依据该理论,翻译要使译入语在语义和文体上用最贴切、最自然的对等语再现原语的信息;译者在忠实原文信息的基础上,需考虑读者的反应,使译文易于读者理解和接受。在本项目翻译过程中碰到的困难主要包括词汇和句子的理解、幽默的表达等,但通过咨询他人、查阅资料等方法得到了解决。在具体翻译案例的处理上采用直译、意译、加注、词性转换等策略解决了词汇、句法、修辞以及人物语言风格方面的难题,从而使译文语言更符合中文表达习惯。本报告分为五个部分。第一部分对小说作者、内容、特点、意义等做了介绍。第二部分简要阐述尤金·奈达的功能对等理论及其在该小说翻译上的适用性。第三部分简述任务实施过程并指出难点。第四部分为报告的主要部分,从四个层面对译文进行了案例分析。第五部分对报告进行总结,道出收获,期待更多建议以使译文更上一层楼。
[Abstract]:This report is based on the English translation of sections 23 to 31 of the Diary novel "the Little Miracle" by Don Frankie, a famous British comedian and writer. The language of the book is witty and humorous. The novel is composed of three protagonists' diaries. The theme of the novel is clear and clear, which aims to reveal the relationship between children and parents and remind people to pay attention to the inner world of teenagers. This translation process is guided by Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory, according to which translation is intended to make the target language most appropriate in meaning and style. The most natural equivalents reproduce the information of the source language; On the basis of faithful original information, the translator should consider the readers' reaction so that the target text can be easily understood and accepted by the readers. The difficulties encountered in the process of translation include the understanding of words and sentences, the expression of humor and so on. But it is solved by consulting others and consulting materials. The strategies of literal translation, free translation, annotation and part of speech conversion are used to solve the problem of vocabulary and syntax. This report is divided into five parts. The first part deals with the author, content and characteristics of the novel. The second part briefly describes Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory and its applicability in the translation of the novel. The third part briefly describes the task implementation process and points out the difficulties. Part 4th is the main part of the report. Part. A case study of the translation is carried out from four aspects. Part 5th summarizes the report, points out the gains, and looks forward to more suggestions to further improve the translation.
