【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译报告,原文选自《延请良师:拉比犹太教里的师生故事》(Make Yourself a Teacher)一书的第三章。该书由以色列巴伊兰大学的教授苏珊韩德尔曼(Susan Handelman)所著,本书中,作者讲述了关于以利以谢·本·许尔堪拉比(R.Eliezer ben Hyrcanus)和他的学生的三个戏剧性的故事,向读者展示了在犹太传统中,人们对教育的态度。这本书为当今世界人们对犹太文化的了解和中西方的教育提供了很好的素材和典范。原文内容和犹太教相关,需要译者了解一定的背景文化知识,同时原文中涉及一些专业词汇,译者需要结合原文特色,在功能对等理论指导下,运用厚翻译、意译、词类转换等翻译技巧来完成译文。整个翻译报告分为五部分:第一部分是对翻译报告的简单介绍;第二部分对原文进行了分析;第三部分为翻译理论的介绍和应用;第四部分讨论了译者在翻译过程中遇到的问题,及解决问题所涉及到的翻译方法技巧;最后一部分为总结。
[Abstract]:This is a translation from the third chapter of make Yourself a Teacher. by Susan Handelman, a professor at the University of Bayland in Israel. The author tells three dramatic stories about Elsie Ben Schulkanabe, R. Eliezer ben Hyrcanus, and his students, and shows the reader that in Jewish tradition, This book provides a good material and model for people's understanding of Jewish culture and education in China and the West in the world today. The original text is related to Judaism and requires translators to understand certain background cultural knowledge. At the same time, some professional words are involved in the original text, and the translator needs to combine the features of the original text, under the guidance of functional equivalence theory, to use thick translation and free translation. The whole translation report is divided into five parts: the first part is a brief introduction to the translation report, the second part is the analysis of the original text, the third part is the introduction and application of translation theory. Part 4th discusses the problems encountered by the translator in the process of translation and the translation methods and skills involved in solving the problems. The last part is a summary.
