媒介科技、视觉现代性与传播观念——以中国近现代画报为中心

【摘要】:基于社会和科技等因素的共同推动,中国近现代画报及其所构建的视觉文化发生了现代性转向。以西学东渐历史语境下的独特视觉经验为思维底色,以来自西方的想象作为观照自我的合理借鉴,中国画报在图像的视觉表达上呈现出"点石斋式""良友式""真相式"等多种形态。通过印刷技术和摄影技术双重机械复制术的合力推进,中国画报实现了从图像认知时代到图像娱乐时代的视觉变革。西方思维导致的文化断裂颠覆人们的传统认知,机械复制术导致的书写转向变革了图像的叙事逻辑和人们的传播观念。从《教会新报》的"看图说书"和《点石斋画报》的"以图像为中心",至《真相画报》的"连环画"系列漫画意识和《良友》的影像新闻叙事独立,中国近现代画报的叙事话语出现了从"连环画"到"纪实摄影"的根本性改变,传播观念从"故事化"转向现代独立性,人们的视觉经验经由视觉符号进行猛烈的文化交锋进而影响视觉现代性的运行轨迹。
[Abstract]:Based on the common promotion of society and science and technology, the modern Chinese pictorial and its visual culture have turned to modernity. Taking the imagination from the West as a reasonable reference for self-reflection, In the visual expression of the image, the Chinese pictorial shows a variety of forms, such as "Dingshi Zhai", "good friend", "truth" and so on. Chinese pictorial has realized the visual transformation from the era of image cognition to the era of image entertainment. The rewriting caused by mechanical reproduction has changed the narrative logic of images and people's ideas of communication. From "reading picture books" in "the new church newspaper" and "taking the picture as the center" in "the picture of Dingshi Zhai pictorial", to the "truth pictorial" The comic consciousness of the comic book series and the independence of the video news narrative of Friends, The narrative discourse of Chinese modern pictorial has changed fundamentally from "comic book" to "documentary photography", and the concept of communication has changed from "story" to "modern independence". The visual experience of people through the fierce cultural confrontation of visual symbols, and then affect the movement of visual modernity.
