从文化差异谈汉藏谚语翻译

【摘要】：谚语是一个民族语言的精华。它是在民间广为流传的用通俗易懂的语言反映出深刻哲理的固定语句,其产生和发展深受文化的影响,包括生活环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰、历史发展等因素。谚语在汉藏民族语言文化中占有重要地位,是汉藏文化交流中不可或缺的一部分。因此,谚语翻译对文化交流显得尤为重要。随着文化交流的日益频繁,翻译研究已经从纯语言的层面转向文化交流层面。翻译不仅是语言和文字之间的转换过程,同时也是两种文化交流的跨文化交际活动。因此,译者不仅要具备双语能力,还要深入了解独特的民族文化内涵。谚语包含了大量的文化因素和文化特征,它的翻译不仅涉及到语言之间的转换,同时也要充分考虑不同文化之间的差异,而这种差异正是谚语翻译的难点所在。如果不使用恰当的翻译方法处理文化因素和文化差异,在翻译中难免会出现文化误解和文化流失。为此,本文主要从文化的角度研究汉藏谚语翻译中所出现的文化传输问题,并结合国内外相关翻译理论和研究基础,探究翻译中处理文化因素和文化差异的具体方法。本论文共分为三章,第一章简略地介绍了谚语的概况及基本特征,具体比较了汉藏谚语所体现的生活环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰、历史发展等文化共性和文化差异,并指出汉藏文化差异赋予了两种语言独特的文化魅力,同时也给汉藏谚语的翻译带来了一些困难。因此,译者应该对汉藏谚语中所体现的文化差异要有全面而深刻的了解;第二章简要论述了汉藏谚语翻译的标准,然后介绍了归化和异化的定义及其理论基础,回顾了它们之间的争议且深入分析两者的优点和不足之处,在此基础上提出了汉藏谚语的翻译方法;第三章从文化差异的角度出发结合相关学者的观点,探讨了汉藏谚语翻译时需要注意的几点问题,以更好地实现汉藏谚语文化内涵的有效传译,希望本文可以为目前汉藏谚语翻译方面的研究提供一些有效的补充。
[Abstract]:Proverbs are the quintessence of a national language. They are fixed phrases widely spread among the people that reflect profound philosophy in plain language. Their production and development are deeply influenced by culture, including the living environment, customs, and religious beliefs. Historical development and other factors. Proverbs play an important role in the Chinese and Tibetan national language and culture, and are an indispensable part of the cultural exchanges between China and Tibet. Therefore, the translation of proverbs is particularly important to cultural exchanges. With the increasing frequency of cultural exchanges, the translation of proverbs is becoming more and more important. Translation studies have shifted from pure language to cultural communication. Translation is not only a process of language and text conversion, but also a cross-cultural communication between the two cultures. Therefore, the translator should not only be bilingual. We also need to have a deeper understanding of the unique cultural connotations of the nation. Proverbs contain a great deal of cultural factors and cultural characteristics, and their translation involves not only the conversion of languages, but also the full consideration of differences between different cultures. This difference is the difficulty in the translation of proverbs. If cultural factors and cultural differences are not dealt with properly, cultural misunderstanding and cultural loss will inevitably occur in translation. This paper mainly studies the cultural transmission problems in the translation of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs from the perspective of culture, and combines the relevant translation theories and research bases at home and abroad. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the general situation and basic characteristics of proverbs, and compares the living environment, customs and habits embodied by Chinese and Tibetan proverbs. Religious belief, historical development and other cultural commonalities and cultural differences. It is pointed out that the cultural differences between China and Tibet give the two languages unique cultural charm, and at the same time bring some difficulties to the translation of Chinese-Tibetan proverbs. The translator should have a comprehensive and profound understanding of the cultural differences embodied in Chinese and Tibetan proverbs. Chapter two briefly discusses the translation criteria of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs, and then introduces the definitions and theoretical basis of domestication and alienation. This paper reviews the disputes between them and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of them. On this basis, the translation methods of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs are put forward. Chapter three combines the views of relevant scholars from the perspective of cultural differences. This paper probes into some problems needing attention in the translation of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs in order to better realize the effective interpretation of the cultural connotations of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs. It is hoped that this paper can provide some effective supplements for the research on the translation of Chinese and Tibetan proverbs at present.
