从纯理功能角度看《傲慢与偏见》的两个中文译本

【摘要】： 被列为世界小说名著之一的简·奥斯丁的《傲慢与偏见》在我国至少已有十二种译本。其中,王科一先生的译本长期以来受到广大读者的喜爱。王先生的译本语言生动形象、幽默风趣,但译文中个别地方脱离语境,望文生义。比王译本晚的张玲、张扬译本给人以简洁有余但韵味不足的感觉。同一部作品,却有两个特点不同的翻译版本,翻译学家采用了不同的理论来解释两个译本中出现的各种翻译现象。二十世纪下半叶,语言学研究流派纷呈,成果斐然。在众多的语言学流派当中,以韩礼德为代表的系统功能语言学派显得十分突出。系统功能语言学派有相当完整的思想体系和理论体系,有独特的探究方法,这种理论不仅可以帮助人们认识语言的性质,语言的功能以及语言的使用规律,而且能够直接运用于课堂教学,翻译,语言对比研究等方面。系统功能语法的核心理论—纯理功能可分为概念功能,人际功能和语篇功能。纯理功能被运用到很多方面,例如翻译教学,英译汉的标点符号处理,唐诗汉译英研究等方面,但至今很少有人将韩礼德的纯理功能用于解释文学翻译现象。本文以韩礼德系统功能语法的核心理论—纯理功能为理论基础,从概念功能,人际功能,语篇功能三方面对王科一译本,张玲,张扬译本进行比较分析。
[Abstract]:Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, one of the most famous novels in the world, has at least twelve versions in our country. Humor is funny, but some places in the translation are out of context. Zhang Ling, later than Wang's version, Zhang Yang's version gives people a feeling of brevity but lack of charm. The same work, however, has two different versions with different characteristics. Translators adopt different theories to explain the various translation phenomena in the two versions. In the second half of the twentieth century, linguistic research schools were numerous and fruitful. Among the many linguistic schools, The school of systemic functional linguistics, represented by Halliday, is very prominent. The school of systemic functional linguistics has a fairly complete ideological and theoretical system and a unique inquiry method. This theory can not only help people to understand the nature of language. The functions of language and the rules of language use can be directly applied to classroom teaching, translation, language contrastive study and so on. Interpersonal function and textual function. The pure theory function has been applied in many aspects, such as translation teaching, English-to-Chinese 's punctuation treatment, Tang poetry Chinese-English translation research, etc. However, so far, few people have used Halliday's pure function to explain literary translation phenomenon. This paper bases on the core theory of Halliday's systemic functional grammar, pure theory function, from conceptual function to interpersonal function. A comparative analysis of the translation of Wang Keyi, Zhang Ling and Zhang Yang is made in three aspects.
