翻译社会学视角下莫迪亚诺在中国的译介和接受

【摘要】:莫迪亚诺为法国当代重要作家,与勒克莱齐奥、佩雷克并称为“法兰西三星”,于2014年10月获得诺贝尔文学奖。从译介的角度,莫迪亚诺已经进入中国三十多年。翻译活动是在一定的社会背景下发生的,在对翻译活动的分析中,社会运作是不可忽略的因素。本论文在此认识的基础上,选取莫迪亚诺在中国的译介为研究对象,借用布尔迪厄的社会场域理论,通过回顾作家在中国的翻译出版情况,研究作者、译者、出版者和读者在翻译活动中的作用。本论文在引言中阐述了文学翻译的层次,指出文学翻译活动涉及哲学、语言学、逻辑、美学、历史、文化、心理学等领域,引入布尔迪厄社会学的场域概念,指出翻译活动处在作者、译者、出版者和读者等构成的一个相互作用的翻译场中,并分析诺贝尔文学奖对莫迪亚诺在中国的接受状况所产生的影响。论文第一章首先介绍布尔迪厄的社会场域理论及其基本概念,引入翻译社会学视角。并对莫迪亚诺在中国三十余年的译介历程进行梳理和总结,以时间为节点将整个译介历程划分为四个阶段。论文第二章围绕布尔迪厄的社会场域理论探讨莫迪亚诺在中国的译介情况,分析翻译场中作者、译者和出版者各自的角色以及相互作用。首先分析莫迪亚诺中文译者的整体特征,发现文本翻译和文本研究相结合的互动性。其次对莫迪亚诺相关著作汉译本的出版状况进行梳理,介绍莫迪亚诺在获得诺奖之后中文译本出版情况的变化和发展。论文第三章探讨莫迪亚诺在中国的接受情况。指出莫迪亚诺在法语文学圈和大众读者中的接受情况,并探讨影响莫迪亚诺在中国接受的社会因素,提出前景展望。在结语中,本论文首先对上述三个章节的研究进行归类、梳理,并得出以下结论:翻译活动处在作者、译者、出版者等构成的一个相互作用的翻译场之中。诺贝尔文学奖把莫迪亚诺作品在中国的阅读推向最高峰,莫迪亚诺已经走出小众的文学圈,进入大众读者的阅读视野。但是在这样一个心浮气躁的时代,莫迪亚诺在中国能走多远还取决于媒体和出版界的推广、读者的喜好等多种因素的影响。同时本论文指出中国目前在莫迪亚诺译介和接受领域研究的不足,并希望借研究莫迪亚诺在中国的译介和接受为例,引发对法国文学在中国接受的思考。
[Abstract]:Modiano, an important contemporary French writer, was named "French Samsung" with Leclezio and Perec. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in October 2014. From the perspective of translation, Modiano has been in China for more than 30 years. Translation activities take place in a certain social background. In the analysis of translation activities, social operation is a factor that can not be ignored. The role of publishers and readers in translation activities. In the introduction, this thesis expounds the level of literary translation, points out that literary translation involves the fields of philosophy, linguistics, logic, aesthetics, history, culture, psychology and so on, and introduces the field concept of Bourdieu sociology. This paper points out that translation activities are in an interactive translation field composed of authors, translators, publishers and readers, and analyzes the influence of the Nobel Prize for Literature on Modiano's reception in China. The first chapter introduces Bourdieu's social field theory and its basic concepts, and introduces the perspective of translation sociology. In addition, the author sorts out and summarizes Modiano's translation process in China for more than 30 years, and divides the whole translation process into four stages at the node of time. The second chapter discusses the translation of Modiano in China around Bourdieu's social field theory, and analyzes the roles and interactions of the author, translator and publisher in the field of translation. Firstly, the author analyzes the overall characteristics of Modiano Chinese translator and finds the interaction between text translation and text study. Secondly, this paper reviews the publishing situation of Modiano's Chinese translation, and introduces the changes and development of Modiano's Chinese translation after he won the Nobel Prize. Chapter three discusses Modiano's acceptance in China. This paper points out the acceptance of Modiano among the French literary circle and the popular readers, and probes into the social factors that influence Modiano's acceptance in China, and puts forward the prospect. In the conclusion, the thesis classifies the three chapters and concludes that the translation activities are in an interactive translation field composed of the author, the translator and the publisher. The Nobel Prize for Literature pushed Modiano's reading in China to a climax. Modiano had stepped out of the literary circle of the minority and entered the reading field of the masses. But in an age of impatience, how far Modiano can go in China also depends on a variety of factors such as media and publishing, readers' preferences, and so on. At the same time, this paper points out the deficiency of the research in the field of Modiano's translation and reception in China, and hopes that the study of Modiano's translation and acceptance in China will lead to some thoughts on the acceptance of French literature in China.
