基于语料库的《英国病人》两译本风格比较之虚化动词Have的翻译策略对比研究

【摘要】：1993年,贝克教授首次提出用计算机语料库技术研究翻译的新方式。虚化动词在英语中作为一种特殊动词具有很大的研究意义。本文作者将虚化动词的翻译研究和语料库结合起来,确定了“基于语料库的《英国病人》两译本之虚化动词have的翻译特色对比研究”这一方向。研究选取著名英国小说《英国病人》及其两个中译本(张欣译本和丁骏译本)作为语言素材,从而自建小型双语平行语料库。根据语料特征,研究者选取一种典型的有虚化动词用法的动词Have及其变体。本文主要研究两大问题。第一,两位译者在处理虚化动词Have及其变体时,相同或者相似的策略是:名词动词化,隐化,使用“把”字句。首先,名词动词化的翻译策略使得虚化动词在翻译时更为简便、容易。汉语中动词使用频率高,名词动词化的翻译译文符合汉语的规约,属于一定程度上的归化。其次,隐化体现了译者所持有的改写观点。再次,把字句结构遵循位移图示,有助于描写出人物的主观情感和体验。第二,本文同时关注两译者在翻译虚化动词Have时的主要差异。根据最终统计结果,张欣的译文中,汉语标记词“让”,“把”。“被”占全文总字数的0.61%,然而丁骏译本中比率为0.21%,两译本相差明显。首先,作者从改写的角度论证这一差异的合理性。其次从多元系统理论中的权力关系角度入手解释差异的原因。
[Abstract]:In 1993, Professor Baker first proposed a new way to study translation using computer corpus technology. As a special verb, it is of great significance to study the deficiency verb in English. In this paper, the author combines the study of the translation of fictitious verbs with the corpus, and determines the direction of the comparative study of the translation characteristics of the fictitious verb have in the two Corpus-based versions of "the English patient". In this study, the famous English novel the British patient and its two Chinese versions (Zhang Xin and Ding Jun) were used as the language materials to build a small bilingual parallel corpus. According to the characteristics of the corpus, the researcher selected a typical verb Have and its variants. This paper mainly studies two major problems. First, the same or similar strategies used by the two translators in dealing with the empty verb Have and its variants are as follows: noun verb, implicit, and "Ba" sentence. First of all, the translation strategy of nominalization makes the translation of nihilized verbs easier and easier. In Chinese, verbs are used frequently and the translated translation of noun verbs conforms to the rules of Chinese language and belongs to domestication to a certain extent. Secondly, concealment reflects the translator's view of rewriting. Thirdly, it is helpful to describe the subjective emotion and experience of the character by following the displacement diagram of the sentence structure. Secondly, this paper also focuses on the main differences between the two translators in translating the empty verb Have. According to the final statistical results, Zhang Xin's translation, the Chinese marker words "concession", "Ba". "Bei" accounts for 0.61th of the total number of words in the text, but Ding Jun's ratio is 0.21, the difference between the two versions is obvious. First of all, the author demonstrates the rationality of this difference from the perspective of rewriting. Secondly, it explains the reason of the difference from the angle of power relation in the theory of multiple systems.
