基于翻译过程的葛浩文翻译研究——以《干校六记》英译本的翻译过程为例

【摘要】：本文以俄克拉荷马大学中国文学翻译档案馆所收藏的葛浩文上世纪80年代初翻译《干校六记》期间与编辑、出版商、作者、学者以及读者之间的83封信件为基础,对葛浩文《干校六记》的翻译过程进行研究。希望这一具体案例能唤起大家对翻译过程的关注和思考。本文的研究结果表明,翻译过程研究可以为翻译评价提供新维度,为翻译教学提供新素材,为翻译研究提供新思考。
[Abstract]:This paper is based on 83 letters collected by the University of Oklahoma Archives of Chinese Literary Translation between editors, publishers, authors, scholars and readers during the translation of "the six chapters of the dry School" in the early 1980s. This paper studies the translation process of Gehhot's six chapters of Gan School. It is hoped that this concrete case can arouse the attention and consideration of the translation process. The results of this study show that the study of translation process can provide a new dimension for translation evaluation, new materials for translation teaching and new thinking for translation studies.
