【摘要】：翻译,是两种语言之间的转换,是目的语对原作语言的诠释,译者需要使用合适的翻译方法和翻译策略,忠实通顺地传达原文信息,而不同文体不同内容需要使用不同的翻译方法和策略。《街头律师》(The Street lawyer)是一部法律小说,作者为美国畅销小说家约翰·格里森姆,小说揭露了美国法律界的内幕以及人民大众的贫苦生活。约翰·格里森姆从事过法律职业,所以他熟知法律,著作几乎都是法律题材,因此被称为法律小说作家。他的作品语言流畅,生动形象,句式多变,富有幽默感,且作品中含有大量的对话及人物心理描写,利用这两大描写来塑造人物形象。《街头律师》的翻译实践原文本选自小说的前四章,其中有大量对话及人物心理描写。对话是推动小说情节发展、交代作品背景材料的重要手段,通常使用口语化词汇,短小精炼,易于理解。人物心理描写包括直接心理描写和间接心理描写,利用直接或者间接的方式剖析人物的内心世界。针对这两方面,翻译时采用增词、分句、词类转换的翻译方法和直译、意译的翻译策略,力求保留原文对话特点遣词造句,选用符合人物身份特征的译语,译活人物心理描写,忠实反映人物性格特点,使得译文读者和原文读者一样,也能感受到原文的精彩。
[Abstract]:Translation is the conversion between the two languages and the interpretation of the original language by the target language. The translator needs to use appropriate translation methods and translation strategies to convey the original information faithfully and smoothly. Different styles and different content require different translation methods and strategies. The Street lawyer is a legal novel written by John Grissom, the best-selling American novelist. The novel reveals the insiders of the American legal profession and the poor life of the people. John Grissom was a law writer because he was familiar with law and wrote almost all his works on law. His works are fluent in language, vivid in image, changeable in sentence patterns, full of sense of humor, and contain a large number of dialogues and psychological descriptions of characters. The translation practice of "Street lawyer" is selected from the first four chapters of the novel, in which there are a large number of dialogues and psychological descriptions of characters. Dialogue is an important means to promote the development of the plot and explain the background materials of the novel, usually using colloquial words, short and concise, easy to understand. Character psychological description includes direct psychological description and indirect psychological description, using direct or indirect ways to analyze the characters' inner world. In view of these two aspects, the translation methods of adding words, clauses, parts of speech and translation strategies of literal translation and free translation are adopted in translation, in order to preserve the characteristics of the dialogue in the original text, to select the target language in accordance with the characters' identity characteristics, and to translate the psychological description of the living characters. Faithfully reflect the character of the characters, so that the target readers and the original readers can also feel the brilliance of the original text.
