诗歌隐喻解读的B-S-I模式探究

【摘要】: 隐喻一直以来都被认为是表达诗歌想象力和创造力的重要手段之一。诗人常常用隐喻来创造美,美化普通的或丑陋的事物,避免单调乏味。近年来,在众多学者的努力下,特别是随着认知语言学的迅速发展,诗歌和隐喻研究不断的丰富和发展。但是人们对诗歌的研究,大都集中在美学和文化层面,较少从认知层面对诗歌的解读过程进行分析;而对于隐喻的研究也主要集中在常规隐喻上,对诗歌隐喻关注较少。诗歌隐喻虽属于隐喻的一种,但是和常规隐喻相比,又有它自身的新奇性、原创性和审美性,这些特征决定了不能把它和常规隐喻等同视之。因此,本文试图在前人研究的基础上,从认知心理学的角度建立一个整合模式去解读中英诗歌中的隐喻,并试图揭示隐藏在诗歌隐喻背后的人类语言理解机制。 本文首先比较了常规隐喻和诗歌隐喻的异同,然后分别分析了概念整合理论,相似原则和抑制机制在诗歌隐喻解读中的作用以及它们各自的优劣势,在此基础上创建了诗歌隐喻解读的B-S-I模式,并将这一整合模式应用到对各类诗歌隐喻的具体解读过程中去。结合前人的分类,参照系统功能语言学对语言结构的划分,本文对诗歌隐喻从语音层、词汇语法层以及语义层三个层面做了重新的划分,这三大类还可以再分为更小的类。经过分析,本文发现诗歌隐喻的理解过程是读者在结合语言语境和背景知识的基础上不断激活、联想、抑制和推理,最终获得隐含意义的动态的过程。通过整合、映射、构建以及其他的认知操作,如:相似原则和抑制机制,读者就能推断出比较合适的隐含意义。 该论文共有五个章节,具体如下:第一章简单介绍了论文写作的动因、目标、以及论文的整体框架。第二章为文献综述部分,比较了常规隐喻和诗歌隐喻的异同,回顾了中西诗歌隐喻的发展历程及研究动向,并详细介绍了该论文的理论基础。第三章分析了三大理论的优势和不足,并在此基础上创建了诗歌隐喻解读的整合模式。第四章先对诗歌隐喻进行了重新分类,然后通过运用构建模式对具体诗歌隐喻的分析来揭示人类语言理解的机制。第五章为结束语。总结了该论文的贡献、不足以及对未来研究的一些建议。
[Abstract]:Metaphor has long been regarded as one of the most important ways to express poetic imagination and creativity. Poets often use metaphors to create beauty, beautify ordinary or ugly things and avoid monotony. In recent years, with the efforts of many scholars, especially with the rapid development of cognitive linguistics, the study of poetry and metaphor has been enriched and developed. However, most of the studies on poetry focus on aesthetics and culture, and less on the process of interpretation of poetry from the cognitive level. However, the study of metaphor is mainly focused on the conventional metaphor, and less on the metaphor of poetry. Although poetic metaphor is a kind of metaphor, it has its own novelty, originality and aesthetic characteristics compared with conventional metaphor. These characteristics make it impossible to equate it with conventional metaphor. Therefore, on the basis of previous studies, this paper attempts to establish an integrated model from the perspective of cognitive psychology to interpret metaphors in Chinese and English poetry. This paper first compares the similarities and differences between conventional metaphor and poetic metaphor, and then analyzes the conceptual integration theory. On the basis of the function of similarity principle and inhibition mechanism in the interpretation of poetry metaphor and their respective advantages and disadvantages, the B-S-I model of poetry metaphor interpretation is established. The integration model is applied to the concrete interpretation of various poetic metaphors. Combined with the previous classification and the classification of language structure in systemic functional linguistics, this paper reclassifies poetic metaphor from three levels: phonetic level, lexical and grammatical level and semantic level, which can be subdivided into smaller categories. Through analysis, it is found that the comprehension process of poetic metaphor is a dynamic process in which readers, on the basis of combining linguistic context and background knowledge, constantly activate, associate, suppress and infer, and finally obtain implicit meaning. Through integration, mapping, construction, and other cognitive operations, such as similarity principles and inhibition mechanisms, readers can infer more appropriate implicit meanings. The main contents are as follows: the first chapter briefly introduces the motivation, goal and the whole frame of the thesis. The second chapter is a literature review, which compares the similarities and differences between conventional metaphor and poetic metaphor, reviews the development and research trend of Chinese and Western poetic metaphors, and introduces the theoretical basis of this thesis in detail. The third chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the three theories and establishes the integrated model of metaphor interpretation. The fourth chapter first reclassifies the metaphor of poetry and then reveals the mechanism of human language understanding by analyzing the specific metaphor of poetry by using the construction model. The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The contributions and shortcomings of this paper and some suggestions for future research are summarized.
