关联理论视角下葛氏《青衣》英译策略赏析

【摘要】：毕飞宇是中国著名的作家,曾两次获得"鲁迅文学奖"。他创作的小说《青衣》在国内受到广泛好评。其英译本由葛浩文夫妇翻译,在英语国家也是大受欢迎,并于2008年入围英国《独立报》外国小说奖复评名单,堪称翻译典范。本文将简要介绍关联理论,并在关联理论视角下,赏析葛氏译本的翻译策略。笔者认为,葛氏考虑到了西方读者的认知语境,采取了相应的关联翻译策略,即认知语境关联、风格关联和文化关联,很好地传达了原作者的意图。
[Abstract]:Bi Feiyu is a famous Chinese writer who has won the Lu Xun Prize twice. His novel, Tsing Yi, is well received in China. The English translation, translated by the Gunners, is also popular in the English-speaking world, and was shortlisted in 2008 for the Foreign Fiction Award of the Independent, which is a good example of translation. This paper briefly introduces relevance theory, and analyzes the translation strategies of GE's translation from the perspective of relevance theory. The author believes that taking into account the cognitive context of the western readers, the author adopts the relevant translation strategies, namely cognitive contextual relevance, stylistic relevance and cultural relevance, which well convey the original author's intention.
