【摘要】：翻译家是整个翻译实践活动的主导者,翻译家的研究也随着社会的发展变得越来越重要。宋兆霖先生是我国当代著名翻译家。凭借深厚的中英文水平和翻译功底,成功译介了阿加莎,库柏,贝娄,狄更斯等著名小说家著作,广受读者喜爱和好评。除此之外,他还主编了多部外国文学译作文集,如《勃朗特两姐妹全集》,《狄更斯全集》,《最新美国短篇小说选》等,极大的推动了外国优秀文学作品在中国的传播,对中国文学翻译产生了重大影响。其译作翻译技巧有独特之处,翻译实践亦颇具特色。国内目前对其翻译评价多集中于其少量的译作对比分析,对翻译成就亦是较零散的概括,其翻译实践活动并未得到应有的关注,因而对其翻译技巧,翻译实践活动特点,以及翻译实践活动的价值进行全面系统研究具有现实意义。本文对宋兆霖先生的翻译实践进行梳理,第一,从诗歌,侦探小说,经典小说三方面分析其代表译作,从词句的性质,结构和意义等方面讨论翻译技巧。其翻译方法不拘一格,有直译词或词组字面意义与内涵意义,以及句子内容上归化而形式上异化;在句中适度增添语气词,对长难句进行切分,嵌入和重组等方法,文本翻译优美流畅。第二,从译本选择的地域、时间广度,内容深度,选材目的等方面归纳其翻译实践活动特点,其译作涵盖多个国家,内容种类多样;对文本的选择多重视社会,教育以及艺术意义;译本前言对所译文本彻底而全面的分析史足少有译者能完成的。其所编译著文集种类各异,旨在提升中国读者对外国文学的理解以及对读者思想的启蒙。第三,初步探讨其翻译实践活动对中国文学,对读者,以及对后辈译者带来的价值。其译作为中国文学的创作与发展提供了极好的参考材料,促进了中国翻译文学的发展,对读者有着良好的教育与启蒙作用。在外国文学作品翻译领域,宋兆霖先生孜孜不倦,精益求精翻译家的精神,其巨大的翻译成就,为中国翻译文学,以及后辈翻译者留下了宝贵的财富和启迪。本文采用了文献研究法,文本分析法,比较研究等,力图多角度研究宋兆霖先生。
[Abstract]:Translators are the masters of translation practice, and their research is becoming more and more important with the development of society. Mr. Song Zhaolin is a famous contemporary translator in China. With his deep proficiency in both Chinese and English, he successfully translated and introduced the works of Agatha, Cooper, Bellow, Dickens and other famous novelists. In addition, he also edited several foreign literary translations, such as the complete works of the Bronte sisters, the complete works of Dickens, the latest American short stories, and so on, which greatly promoted the dissemination of excellent foreign literary works in China. It has a great influence on the translation of Chinese literature. His translation techniques are unique, and the translation practice is also unique. At present, most of the domestic translation evaluation focuses on the comparative analysis of its small number of translations, which is also a scattered summary of translation, and its translation practice has not received due attention, so it has paid more attention to its translation skills and characteristics of translation practice. It is of practical significance to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study on the value of translation practice. This paper combs the translation practice of Mr. Song Zhaolin. Firstly, it analyzes his representative translation from three aspects: poetry, detective novel and classical novel, and discusses the translation skills from the aspects of the nature, structure and meaning of the words and sentences. Its translation methods are not restricted, literal and connotative meaning of literal words or phrases, domestication and formal alienation of sentence content, appropriate addition of mood words in sentences, segmentation, embedding and recombination of long and difficult sentences, etc. Text translation is graceful and smooth. Secondly, it summarizes the characteristics of its translation practice from the aspects of the region, time span, content depth, material selection purpose and so on. Its translation covers many countries, and its content is diverse, and it pays more attention to the society in the choice of the text. Educational and artistic significance; the foreword of the translation has few translators to complete a thorough and comprehensive analysis of the translated text. The collected works are of different types and aim at enhancing Chinese readers' understanding of foreign literature and enlightening readers' thoughts. Thirdly, it discusses the value of its translation practice to Chinese literature, readers and later translators. As an excellent reference material for the creation and development of Chinese literature, its translation has promoted the development of Chinese translation literature and played a good role in educating and enlightening readers. In the field of translation of foreign literary works, Mr. Song Zhaolin worked tirelessly to improve the spirit of the translator, whose great translation has left valuable wealth and inspiration for Chinese translation literature and the later translators. This paper uses literature research, text analysis, comparative study, trying to study Mr. Song Zhaolin from different angles.
