合作的变奏:短篇小说《色戒》英译评析

【摘要】：张爱玲的短篇小说《色戒》由英国剑桥大学教授、中国文学学者和翻译家朱丽娅·洛弗尔译出。在遵循英国著名翻译理论家彼得·纽马克提出的翻译批评应该涵盖五大方面的内容的基础上,本文对该作进行了英译评析。译作在题目、结构、修辞和专有名词等方面以丰富多彩的合作方式体现了原作的精美与和谐。通过本文的英译评析,译作展现出翻译既是科学又是艺术的独特魅力。
[Abstract]:Zhang Ailing's short novel Lust caution was translated by Zhu Liya Lovell, professor of Chinese literature and professor at Cambridge University in England. On the basis of the translation criticism proposed by Peter Newmark, a famous English translation theorist, which should cover five aspects, this paper makes an analysis of the translation of the novel. In terms of title, structure, rhetoric and proper nouns, the translation embodies the beauty and harmony of the original in various cooperative ways. Through the analysis of English translation, translation shows that translation is both scientific and artistic.
