[Abstract]:The wave of "neo-mythology" has swept the world, and myth has become an important driving force and resource of cultural industry in the world. In 2005, the Canongate Publishing House launched the "restatement of Myth" large-scale creative publishing campaign, so far, The restated mythology novels published by Chongqing Publishing House include Atwood's the Book of Pernelopper, Vicente's weight, Chinese writer Su Tong's Beno, Ye Zhaoyan's Hou Yi, Li Rui's Man's and Alai's' Gesar'. Wang, a restatement of mythology, includes Armstrong's A brief History of Myth. Margaret Atwoodo (1939-) is one of the few women writers in Canadian literary world in the 20th century, and is known as "Queen of Canadian Literature". Atwood has always been among the waves of the women's liberation movement, feeling the strongest voice of the times, and his works revolve around the theme of how women know themselves and protect themselves. She parodies the epic classic Odysseus with her superb literary skills, and Pernelope and her twelve maids become the masters of discourse, subverting well-known myths. The novel raises two unresolved questions: what has pushed the maids into the gallows? What role did Penelope play? Su Tong (1963-) is a famous contemporary Chinese writer. He is famous for a series of charismatic images of women, but simply using the concept of "feminism" to delineate his works has the suspicion of drawing a circle on the ground as a prison. Su Tong chose the Meng Jiangnv legend of "very Kafka" as the theme of "restatement of mythology". On this basis, he made a mythical restoration of the simple story itself, and explored a kind of folk philosophy for today's harsh and cold times. The two novels are also female themes, female perspective narrative, aimed at deconstructing the authority / totalitarian culture between China and the West, what is the essential difference between them? This paper attempts to make a comparative study of the writing background and writing strategy chosen by the writer, the reality of care, the constitution of the female image and the aesthetic pursuit in the way of careful reading of the text. In order to discover the Chinese and foreign writers in the use of mythology to solve the crisis of human spiritual belief and the harsh cold reality of the process, showing the Chinese and Western culture fertile soil growth and reproduction wisdom, At the same time, it reflects the contradictions and tension in different literary traditions.
