基于贝尔曼理论对冯译《飞鸟集》的研究

【摘要】：伟大的印度诗人、作家、哲学家泰戈尔在其一生中创作了许多文字简约却富含哲理的诗歌。1916年出版的《飞鸟集》是我国最早翻译的诗集之一,至今仍有许多忠实的读者,其中以郑振铎翻译的版本备受推崇。然而,在2015年,中国诗人冯唐翻译的《飞鸟集》因其独特的译风和大胆的用词,一经出版便引发了热议,小到个人,大到翻译界,许多人对此进行了批判,而李银河却公开表示这是她看过的最好的译本。忠实的问题再次被推到风口浪尖。究竟怎样的翻译才算是好的翻译?翻译批评的过程中应该注重哪些方面的评判?因此,如何对此译本进行规范系统的翻译批评是一个不可避免的问题。众所周知,在翻译实践过程中,不同翻译方法和策略的采用取决于译者,而通常情况下,不同翻译风格的译者所采用的翻译方法也尽相同,这就导致各个翻译成品呈现出不同的效果。传统的翻译批评更多注重对翻译风格和翻译方法(直译或意译,归化或异化)的讨论,而没有提出比较系统的翻译批评方法和步骤。基于此背景下,安托瓦纳.贝尔曼,法国当代著名的翻译实践家、理论家,结合自身的翻译批评实践,以现代阐释学为理论基础,完成了《翻译批评论:约翰.唐》这一著作,想要通过此书使得翻译批评实现理论化,他提出译者在翻译活动中起到不可忽视的作用,应全面考查译者的翻译立场、翻译方案和翻译视域,提出一个可操作的批评方案,确立翻译批评体系的框架。本篇论文着重介绍了贝尔曼的翻译批评理论,并运用此理论分析了中国诗人冯唐的译本《飞鸟集》,通过四个步骤,从阅读和再阅读译文,阅读原文,寻找译者,到最后分析翻译作品,一步一步运用此理论的客观全面地分析此译本,探寻作者翻译背后的原因,希望借此能为翻译批评研究提供点新思路。
[Abstract]:Tagore, the great Indian poet, writer and philosopher, has written many poems in his life that are simple but full of philosophy. The Flying Birds, published in 1916, is one of the earliest translated poems in China, and still has many loyal readers. Among them, the version translated by Zheng Zhenduo is highly regarded. However, in 2015, the Chinese poet Feng Tang translated the Collection of Flying Birds, which was criticized by many people for its unique style of translation and bold words. Once published, it aroused heated debate, ranging from individuals to translators. Li Yinhe, however, said publicly that this was the best translation she had ever read. The question of loyalty was again pushed to the top of the storm. What kind of translation is a good translation? What aspects should we pay attention to in the process of translation criticism? Therefore, how to standardize the translation criticism is an inevitable problem. As we all know, in the process of translation practice, the adoption of different translation methods and strategies depends on the translator, and in general, the translation methods used by the translators of different translation styles are the same. This results in different translation products showing different effects. Traditional translation criticism pays more attention to the discussion of translation style and methods (literal or free translation, domestication or alienation), but does not put forward more systematic methods and steps of translation criticism. Based on this background, Antovana. Berman, a famous contemporary French translation practitioner and theorist, combined with his own translation criticism practice, based on the modern hermeneutics, completed the "Translation criticism: John". Tang >, who wants to theorize translation criticism through this book, proposes that the translator should play an important role in the translation activities, and should examine the translator's translation position, translation plan and translation horizon. An operational criticism scheme is proposed to establish the framework of translation criticism system. This thesis focuses on Berman's theory of translation criticism, and uses this theory to analyze the Chinese poet Feng Tang's translation of Flying Birds. Through four steps, reading and rereading the translation, reading the original text, looking for the translator. Finally, by analyzing the translated works, the author analyzes the translation in an objective and comprehensive way by using this theory step by step, and explores the reasons behind the author's translation, hoping to provide some new ideas for the study of translation criticism.
