中美社会转型期底层文学比较研究

【摘要】: 本论聚焦于中国与美国两个具有典型的东西方社会性征的国家在社会转型期所反映的底层问题,从文学角度予以论述。社会转型必然带来时代的变迁与生活的演变,从文学上审视观察中国与美国在20世纪前后不同阶段所经历的社会转型,可以发现,两国文学在这一特定的历史时期,都出现了一批关注社会现实、描写底层人物、反映纷繁驳杂的生活现象,表现底层困境、探索底层人物复杂人性与价值观冲突、变迁的优秀作家与作品,构成了两国社会转型期底层文学的大观局面。本论采用平行研究的方法,一方面从整体上勾勒中、美社会转型期底层文学的文学特征与文化征象,另一方面对中、美社会转型期底层文学的人物系列、文化差异、价值观念等进行深度比较,进而对中、美社会转型期底层文学所表现的文学思想与文化价值从文学史意义上进行判断与甄别。全文共分三章,第一章:中美社会转型期底层文学特征与文化征象,力图从文学主题、底层镜像、创作方法等描述底层文学的性征,进而透视转型社会中由农业而工业、由传统而现代所带来的城乡生活演变的文化征象;第二章:中美社会转型期底层文学的人物群体与人性描写,旨在通过对底层复杂人物群体及其丰富人性内涵的察析与揭示,洞悉中、美底层人物所表现出的文化共性与民族差异,辨识这些复杂人性的美善与丑恶的纠结;第三章:中美社会转型期底层文学中的价值观变迁与文学评价,重在对底层群落所特有的价值观念的探究与文化演变的追寻,将之置放于社会思想与文化精神的层面,衡定其现实价值与思想意义。在具体的研究中,本论一方面依托文本对中美社会转型期底层文学所反映的纷繁复杂的社会本相与文本所呈现的审美特质,对中美社会转型期底层文学进行比较分析与文化透视,另一方面从社会学、文化学以及文学史角度对中美社会转型期底层文学展开比较,力求在“异”中寻“同”,在“同”察“异”、不仅辨识其文学的相同规律与相异的面貌,亦察析其文化的差异性与通约性,进而寻找到底层文学表现的“一种新的美学原则”。从文学的规律而言,当下的底层文学创作,既蕴含着“新的美学原则”的可能性,亦以其显在的文本,彰显着其独特的价值。
[Abstract]:This paper focuses on the underlying problems reflected in the social transition period in China and the United States, two countries with typical eastern and western social characteristics, and discusses them from the literary point of view. Social transformation is bound to bring about the change of times and the evolution of life. From the literature, we can observe the social transformation experienced by China and the United States at different stages around the 20th century, and we can find that the literature of the two countries is in this particular historical period. There are a number of outstanding writers and works who pay attention to the social reality, describe the characters at the bottom, reflect the numerous and complicated life phenomena, express the plight of the bottom, explore the conflict between the complex human nature and the values of the bottom characters, and the vicissitude. Constitute the two countries in the transition period of the bottom of the literature situation. On the one hand, it outlines the literary characteristics and cultural signs of the bottom literature in the transition period of the American society, on the other hand, it makes a comparison of the series of characters and the cultural differences of the bottom literature in the transition period of the American society. This paper makes a deep comparison between the values and so on, and then judges and discriminates the literary thought and cultural value of the underclass literature in the transitional period of the United States from the perspective of literary history. The thesis is divided into three chapters: the first chapter: the characteristics and cultural signs of the bottom literature in the transition period between China and the United States, trying to describe the sexual characteristics of the underlying literature from the literary theme, the bottom image, the creative method, and so on, and then to see through the transformation society from agriculture to industry. The second chapter is the description of the characters and human nature of the bottom literature in the transitional period of Chinese and American society, which aims at analyzing and revealing the complex character group at the bottom and its rich connotation of human nature through the analysis of the complex character group at the bottom and the rich connotation of human nature, which is brought about by the tradition and the modern times. In understanding the cultural commonalities and national differences of the underclass figures of the United States and recognizing the entanglement between the beauty, the good and the ugliness of these complex human nature, the third chapter: the change of values and the literary evaluation in the underclass literature in the period of social transformation between China and the United States. Emphasis is placed on the exploration of the unique values and the pursuit of cultural evolution of the underclass community, which is placed on the level of social thought and cultural spirit, and its realistic value and ideological significance are determined. In the specific research, on the one hand, this theory relies on the text to reflect the complex and complicated social reality and aesthetic characteristics of the text, which is reflected by the bottom literature in the social transition period between China and the United States. On the other hand, from the angle of sociology, culturology and literary history, the author makes a comparative study of the underclass literature in the period of social transformation between China and the United States, and tries to find "similarities" among the "differences". In "same" and "different", not only the same laws and different features of its literature, but also its cultural differences and universality, and then find a "new aesthetic principle" of the expression of the underlying literature. In terms of the law of literature, the current literary creation at the bottom not only contains the possibility of "new aesthetic principles", but also shows its unique value with its obvious text.
