从风格的审美再现看查良铮译《唐璜》

【摘要】:翻译美学不同于传统的西方翻译理论模式,它综合了翻译和美学两个学科的特点,具有鲜明的中国特色,探讨的是美学对译学的特殊意义。《唐璜》这部讽刺长诗是英国浪漫主义诗人拜伦的经典代表作;查良铮翻译的《唐璜》被公认为最佳译本,不管是从语言优美角度还是原文审美要素的再现都广受赞誉,这部译作不仅体现出翻译作品应有的信达雅,而且它本身就是一部优秀的文学作品。本文将翻译美学的理论视角来分析《唐璜》一书的查良铮译本,从原文的审美风格的形式标记再现、非形式标记再现两个方面进行分析,探索翻译学的美学模式下涵盖的一个基本问题:"怎样将一门语言优化并再现于另一门截然不同的语言中"。本文发现,跨语言的转换不仅要考虑的原文的形式标记,从"大语境"下把握原作者的文化背景和作家风格,抓住原文隐形的风格美信息;还要择善从优,体现译语取向,展示译者个人风格,使译者的个人风格在翻译实践过程中与原作者的风格互融互通。
[Abstract]:Translation aesthetics is different from the traditional western translation theory model. It combines the characteristics of translation and aesthetics, and has distinct Chinese characteristics. What is discussed is the special significance of aesthetics to translation. "Don Juan" is the classic masterpiece of British Romantic poet Byron. ChaLiangzheng's "Don Juan" has been recognized as the best translation, both from the point of view of linguistic beauty and the reappearance of the aesthetic elements of the original text. And it itself is an excellent literary work. From the perspective of translation aesthetics, this paper analyzes the translation of "Don Juan" from two aspects: formal representation of the aesthetic style of the original text and non-formal label reproduction of the original text. This paper explores a basic problem covered by the aesthetic model of translation: "how to optimize one language and reproduce it in another completely different language". This paper finds that the translingual transformation should not only consider the formal mark of the original text, but also grasp the original author's cultural background and writer's style under the "big context", and grasp the esthetic information of the original text's style. It is also necessary to choose good from the best, embody the orientation of the target language, display the translator's personal style, and make the translator's personal style intermingle with the original author's style in the process of translation practice.
