新媒体艺术在公共艺术中的应用与发展

【摘要】:公共艺术作为当今城市中一种日趋重要的文化形式,起着愈加彰显的文化载体的作用,并成为城市的符号与象征。城市是公共艺术的载体,公共艺术属于城市,它随城市而生,为城市而存。没有文化的城市是没有灵魂的城市,世界上的城市千差万别,根本的差别就在于城市文化的不同。一座城市中有没有富有创意与代表性的公共艺术和公众参加的相对宽松的艺术氛围的存在;有没有适当比例的充盈着艺术气息的文化交流与审美及休闲娱乐的公共空间,已经成为衡量一个城市文化品质高低的重要标准。伴随着时代的发展,公共艺术的发展也是与时俱进的,新媒体艺术的介入,为公共艺术的发展打开了一个全新的局面。 本文从公共艺术的表现形式、公共艺术与城市的关系以及新媒体艺术介入后公共艺术的新的表现形式以及新发展——现代都市文化魅力的提升这几个方面进行详尽的阐述与分析。力图通过深入详尽的理论的阐述与个例的分析,展示出新媒体艺术介入后公共艺术的新的表现形式与新发展,并且着重论述了新媒体艺术在公共艺术中的运用与新媒体艺术介入后公共艺术在城市信息化、公共文化发展与城市性格展现以及都市文化内涵与理念的延伸上所发挥的不可替代的作用。 本文认为城市公共艺术的发展已经成为城市发展重要的一部分,尤其在新媒体艺术介入后,其多媒融合与实时交互的传播特征赋予公共艺术新的表现形式、参与体验与审美特征。在数字时代下,新媒体公共艺术的发展契合了当今城市文化的发展的需求,我们的城市不能建成“博物馆”,要让建筑活起来。新媒体公共艺术在以彰显文化特质、凝聚城市形象、凸显城市性格、承载公众理想为宗旨的城市发展中,是具有广阔的发展前景的。
