巴赫金视野下《喧哗与骚动》与《秦腔》复调特征研究

【摘要】: 作为二十世纪俄国最重要的文学批评家之一,米哈伊尔·米哈伊洛维奇·巴赫金在《陀思妥耶夫斯基诗学问题》一书中首次提出了复调小说理论。巴赫金认为有着众多的各自独立而不相融合的声音和意识,由具有充分价值的不同声音组成真正的复调。“复调小说”虽然是巴赫金提出用以形容陀思妥耶夫斯基小说创作特点的,但无论是在中国还是在西方文坛,还有不少作家的作品都具有明显的复调特征。美国著名作家威廉·福克纳创作的小说《喧哗与骚动》与中国当代作家贾平凹的力作《秦腔》正是这样的两部作品。它们虽诞生于不同时代和国度,但在诸多方面都具有明显的复调特征。本论文在对两部作品深入分析的基础之上,借助比较研究,从“众声喧哗”、“全面对话”和“未完成性”三方面研究了这两部小说相似的复调特征,进而指出造成小说复调性的一是创作背景的复调性,即两部作品的创作背景都处于“历史的十字路口”,多种声音在争夺着话语权;二是两部作品中相似的“疯癫之爱”所演绎出的作家思想的复调性,即对传统的留恋与对社会发展历史必然性的理性认识。通过对这两部作品的复调特征解读还发现了这样一个事实,即不同国家演绎着相同的社会发展规律及矛盾。
[Abstract]:As one of Russia's most important literary critics in the 20th century, Mikhail Mikhilovich Bakhtin put forward the theory of polyphonic novel for the first time in Dostoevsky's Poetics. Bakhtin believes that there are many independent and non-integrated voices and consciousness, which are composed of fully valuable different sounds to form a true polyphony. Although "polyphonic novel" was put forward by Bakhtin to describe Dostoevsky's novel creation characteristics, there are still many writers' works with obvious polyphonic characteristics both in China and in the western literary world. The famous American writer William Faulkner's novel the Sound and the Fury and the Chinese contemporary writer Jia Pingao's masterpiece Qin Xuan are just such two works. Although they were born in different times and countries, they have obvious polyphonic characteristics in many aspects. On the basis of in-depth analysis of the two novels, this paper studies the similar polyphonic features of the two novels from three aspects of "the Sound", "Total Dialogue" and "unfinished" by means of comparative research. Furthermore, the author points out that one of the reasons for the polyphony of the novel is that the background of the two works is at "the crossroads of history", and many kinds of voices are fighting for the right to speak. The second is the polyphony of the writer's thought deduced from the similar "madly love" in the two works, that is, the nostalgia for the tradition and the rational understanding of the historical inevitability of social development. Through the interpretation of the polyphonic features of the two works, we also find the fact that different countries deduce the same laws and contradictions of social development.
