20世纪90年代以来的文学本质观及其评析

【摘要】: 文学本质一直以来都是人们热衷于讨论的问题,关于这个问题仁者见仁、智者见智。不同时代对于本质问题有不同的阐释,形成了各种各样的文学本质观。从较早的模仿说、表现说,到后来的接受论、审美论等等,人们对文学本质的认识经历了一个历史的发展过程。对文学本质追问的过程也是需要我们不断思考和反思的。人们在追问本质“为何”与“如何”的过程中,对文学和生活也就有了更深入的思考。 文学始终都与时代和社会的发展密切相关。20世纪90年代以来,关于文学本质问题的讨论发生了很大的变化。这其中融入了时代语境的变化,文学形态的变迁和理论言说者兴趣关切的变更。讨论20世纪90年代以来的文学本质观,包含着对文学置身的时代语境的体察,文学理论言说方式特点的考量,以及本质作为一个问题的厘定。 论文共分为四章。第一章描述20世纪90年代以来文学本质言说的新境遇。由于社会环境、文学观念和知识模式的变化,文学的境遇有了很大的不同。20世纪80年代文学如此繁盛,它在社会中发挥着主导作用,是特殊时期精英文化的第一载体。但是90年代以后,文学呈现大众化的趋势,电子媒介的出现促成了新文学样式的诞生,由此引发了人们对文学认识上的变化。第二章是对90年代以来的几种有代表性的文学本质观的分析。虽然受后现代主义和文化研究的双重冲击,文学理论界有的学者开始回避本质问题,但是关于文学本质的讨论并没有终结,还涌现出了几种有代表性的观点。最引人瞩目的就是围绕“文学审美意识形态论”而引发的一场论争。还有从系统或综合的角度或文学本体论的高度来探讨本质问题的。第三章考察了反本质主义的文学“本质”观。反本质主义反对对文学的本质主义概括,但是在对文学的分析过程中实际上已经包含了对文学本质的考察,仍然是一种关于文学的本质观。第四章对文学性的概念及发展作了简单的梳理,尤其对后现代“文学性”进行探讨。后现代“文学性”概念为文学的泛化趋势提供了新的阐释空间,引发了人们思考文学在社会文化结构中所处地位及应有的意义。通过对“文学性”的分析和探讨,同样可以获得对文学的认识和观照。但是,对“文学性”的探讨,并不能取代对文学本质的追问。文学本质问题不会终结,反而具有常说常新的特点。
[Abstract]:The essence of literature has always been a hot topic for discussion. Different times have different interpretations of the nature of literature, forming a variety of views on the nature of literature. From the earlier theory of imitation, the theory of expression, to the later acceptance theory, aesthetic theory and so on, people's understanding of the essence of literature experienced a historical development process. The process of questioning the essence of literature also needs us to ponder and reflect on. In the process of questioning the essence of "why" and "how", people also have more in-depth thinking about literature and life. Literature has always been closely related to the development of the times and society. Since the 1990s, great changes have taken place in the discussion of the nature of literature. It incorporates the changes of the context of the times, the change of the literary form and the change of the interest of the theorists. This paper discusses the view of literary essence since the 1990s, including the understanding of the context of the times in which literature is placed, the consideration of the characteristics of literary theory, and the determination of the essence as a problem. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the new situation of literary essence since 1990s. Due to the change of social environment, literary concept and knowledge mode, the situation of literature is very different. In the 1980s, literature flourished so well that it played a leading role in society and was the first carrier of elite culture in special period. However, after the 1990s, literature showed the trend of popularization. The emergence of electronic media contributed to the birth of the new literary style, which led to changes in people's understanding of literature. The second chapter is the analysis of several representative literary essentials since 1990's. Despite the double impact of post-modernism and cultural studies, some scholars in literary theory began to evade the issue of essence, but the discussion on the nature of literature has not ended, and several representative views have emerged. The most remarkable is the controversy caused by the theory of literary aesthetic ideology. Also from the perspective of system or synthesis or literary ontology to explore the nature of the problem. The third chapter examines the anti-essentialism view of literary "essence". Anti-essentialism opposes the generalization of the essentialism of literature, but in the process of analyzing literature, it has actually included an examination of the essence of literature, which is still a view of the essence of literature. The fourth chapter makes a simple review of the concept and development of literariness, especially the post-modern "literariness". The concept of "literariness" in post-modern times provides a new interpretation space for the trend of generalization of literature, and causes people to think about the position and significance of literature in the social and cultural structure. Through the analysis and discussion of "literariness", we can also obtain the understanding and reflection of literature. However, the exploration of "literariness" can not replace the inquiry of the essence of literature. The essence of literature will not end, but it has the characteristics of saying often and new.
