纪录片《舌尖上的中国2》解说词翻译实践报告
[Abstract]:China is known as the "food kingdom". Gourmet food has always been an effective way for foreign friends to know about China. With the hot spread of China 2 at the tip of the tongue, food culture has become a hot topic again. The translation of the commentary into English is more and more important, not only to promote the culture of gourmet food, but also to achieve the goal of "taking good food into life and learning China from life". < China 2 > on the tip of the tongue opens a window for people to understand the true China and its culture. There are seven episodes of this documentary, and the translator has translated the commentary of the first two episodes of the film. These two episodes focus on people on the journey and their beloved homesick cuisine, as well as the teaching of traditional Chinese cuisine and the diverse silhouettes of the Chinese who infiltrate it. In line with the current majority of people far away from home to fight or earn a living in the environment and the reality of the situation. In particular, the second episode is not only the inheritance of traditional cooking craft, but also the inheritance of teachers, family style and even tradition, which is closely related to the current social theme of China. The documentary takes reality as the object of expression. Narratives are an important part of documentaries. It can not only explain the people and things in the documentary, but also supplement the information that can not be displayed in the real-time picture of the documentary. In the process of translation, based on the purpose of translation, the translator should pay full attention to this point and the cultural differences presented in the film, and carefully translate in order to avoid misunderstanding or ambiguity. There are five parts in this translation report. The first three parts are preface, task description and translation quality control. The fourth part is the case analysis, respectively from the words, sentences and paragraphs of the level of examples. Guided by Skopos Theory and based on the purpose of translation, the translator adopts the methods of phonetic translation and free translation in translating part of the menu names and culture-loaded words, so as to keep the source language information as exotic as possible, so as to attract the interest of the target language audience. When translating sentences, the target language audience is familiar with the fixed expression to ensure the acceptability of the translation; When translating paragraphs, we take full account of the linguistic characteristics of the source language. According to the style of the selected paragraph, the translator flexibly adds referential pronouns and logical relation markers, and changes parts of speech at the same time in order to ensure cohesion and coherence in the translation. The fifth part is the conclusion. This paper will strive to achieve the following objectives: to provide a relatively feasible translation; to summarize the translation strategies of similar texts; to help those who do not know the present situation of China more intuitively and truly understand China and its gourmet culture; In order to improve the translator's ability to solve problems in translation practice, we can learn more knowledge.
