史蒂文斯诗学随笔汉译实践报告

汉译实践报告选择史蒂文斯的《一位重要诗人》(“APoet That Matters”)和《诗歌中的非理性因素》(“The Irrational Element in Poetry”)两篇诗学随笔为原文本。两篇论文主要呈现史蒂文斯本人的诗学观,对它们进行汉译并总结汉译过程中运用的翻译方法对史蒂文斯诗学研究及其翻译研究具有重要意义。报告分成引言、翻译过程描述、案例分析和总结四个部分。首先,简述翻译实践背景、目的及意义;接着,详细描述整个翻译过程,着重分析原文本措辞和句式的主要特点及翻译难点;然后,抓住原文措辞上兼顾生动与庄重、句式上分别以短句与带有插入语的长句为特色,结合作者自己的翻译文本,对两篇随笔的翻译方法进行详细探讨;最后,报告对翻译的过程与方法进行总结。《诗歌中的非理性因素》结合两篇平行文本进行对比分析。报告发现,在措辞方面,生动用语多隐含比喻意义,宜采用对应法保留字面意义,再现用语特色;若影响译文理解,则采用直白法。庄重用语多为正式用词,翻译多用四字格处理。在句式方面,短句翻译多用增译法;带插入语的长句句式复杂,可采用逆译法、合译法和分译法,将英语长句化为汉语流水短句,梳理逻辑关系以使译文符合汉语表达习惯。报告表明,诗学随笔翻译在准确传达原文内容的同时,需要尽量兼顾语言特点在译文中的再现,使译文更加符合读者需求。希望报告能对诗学随笔的汉译起到一定的借鉴作用。
