《干校六记》中言语幽默英译研究

　　 作为生活的调味剂,幽默不只存在于我们的平时交谈中,也大量存在于文学作品中。对于幽默的认识和理解,可以说人与人之间是不同的,国家与国家、民族与民族之间也是不同的。因为幽默价值观不是统一的,所以就给人们摆出了一个难题——如何贴切地翻译幽默。本研究基于言语幽默概论及其延伸理论,以杨绛的散文集《干校六记》及其两英译本(葛浩文译Six Chapters from My Life“Downunder”和白杰明译A Cadre School Life Six Chapters)中出现的言语幽默为语料,建立原文与译文对照的双语平行数据库,采用数据库检索、定量分析、定性分析的方法,对语料进行描写和分析,归纳总结了原文中言语幽默的特征,统计分析了两英译本中言语幽默的翻译方法以及含有修辞手段的言语幽默的翻译模式,对比分析了两译本对原文中的言语幽默的保留情况,旨在为汉语言语幽默文本的翻译提供实证依据。研究发现归纳如下:(1)言语幽默概论不仅适用于短篇英语笑话分析,也能跨语言且系统地分析长篇汉语幽默散文文本;(2)修辞手段是《干校六记》中言语幽默形成的重要手段,隐喻、明喻和反语是主要的幽默触发机制;(3)两英译本均采用了直译、意译、换译、省略四种翻译方法传达原文的幽默语义,其中直译所占比例最大,意译次之,换译和省译所占比例较小,但采用直译和换译方法的译文绝大部分保留了原文幽默语义,而意译和省略却导致了大量原文幽默语义的缺失;(4)在转换含有修辞手段的汉语言语幽默时,两英译本分别采用了三种翻译模式,即同类转换、异类转换和零类转换,其中同类转换所占比例最大。研究结果表明译文要传递原文中的幽默,充分考虑原文参数的保留或转换,尤其是深层参数的脚本对立、表层参数的修辞手段显得至关重要。
