翻译适应选择论视角下蓝诗玲《鲁迅小说全集》英译研究

鲁迅是现代中国著名的文学家和思想家,也是中国现代文学的奠基人和五四运动的倡导者,对现代中国社会的思想文化产生了巨大的影响。自上世纪二十年代以来,鲁迅小说已被翻译成50多种外语,其中鲁迅小说的英译本影响最为广泛。本文以胡庚申的翻译适应选择论为理论框架,对蓝诗玲英译本The Complete Fictionof Lu Xun进行个案研究。翻译适应选择论强调译者中心地位,认为翻译活动就是译者适应翻译生态环境并在翻译生态环境中做出选择的过程。根据翻译适应选择论,本文首先讨论了蓝诗玲在译前阶段对翻译生态环境的适应,包括对自我需求、能力以及译语社会的适应。其次,本文研究了蓝诗玲在译中阶段采用何种翻译策略和翻译方法对译文进行适应性选择,主要从语言、文化和交际三个维度的转换进行分析。此外,本文还在译后阶段对蓝诗玲英译本进行了评估,主要涉及读者评价和对中国文学走出去的意义两个方面。本文通过对蓝诗玲英译本The Complete FictionofLu Xun研究之后得出了以下几点结论:1)以原文为典型要件的翻译生态环境选择蓝诗玲成为鲁迅小说全集的译者是因为,蓝诗玲很好地适应了由自身需求、能力和译语社会等...
